My Forged Wedding

It feels so surreal to play this on Steam as an adult. They definitely need to add achievements so we can display them on our profiles.

[h2] THOUGHTS [/h2] My forged wedding is really one of the best voltage inc title ever, I used to replay this multiple times on the love 365 app, and this is a much healthier gameplay than KBTBB. [h2] PLOT [/h2] It started as the MC looking for a job and was asking her uncle for help, but she came upon these 5 men that need to look for someone to pretend to be their wife. And since these 5 men are her uncle's friends, he really want to help them out, and he will only help the MC to look for a job that suits her if only she agrees to help any one of them. [h2] CHARACTERS [/h2] [b] Yamato [/b] His reason for looking for a wife in name and/or in contract is that his job requires it, the teachers are not allowed to be single. He lied when he applied for the job and it seems that the vice principal catched on. Therefore, his job is in a threat, and need to look for a wife in contract quick. [b] Takao [/b] Honestly is the sweetest man in this game, His reason is because of his sick grandma, her wish is to see him happily married. And he can do all the chores, he is the sweetest man alive. [b] Ren [/b] I am 100000% sure that he is our all time favourite cinnamon roll, with his princely look and quiet nature, it is very obvi he will capture every maiden heart. His reason for having a fake wife is because of his promised with his family, to continue his research in overseas, he have to come back to the country with a fiancee by the age of 25. [b] Saeki [/b] He is a novelist, quite a famous one as well. He needs a fake wife because he needs inspiration for this new script that he is working on. BUT LIVING WITH HIM IS A HORROR, DO NOT BE FOOL BY HIS SEXY LOOK ON THE OUTSIDE, IN HIS HOUSE IS TOTALLY DIRTY, HIS SOCKS ARE ALL OVER, SHIRTS ALL OVER THE PLACE, ETC. Before he get romance inspiration, he will get a "how to escape murder or wrath" inspiration instead. Not to say I am a very tidy person myself, but I absolutely hate to see dirty laundry all over the place. [b] Yuta [/b] [u]*If his route is chosen, the time is set a month later after your encounter with the guys*[/u] Since he is a comedian and appear on TV shows, some paparazzi happened to caught Yuta and the MC "together", and it made the headline. Therefore to save his career, they have to film a tv show about his "married life". [b]PS: UPON SEASON 2 AND FORWARD, IT MIGHT BE A BIT CONFUSING AS THERE WILL BE A FEW UNFAMILIAR AND NEW FACES, BUT THEY ARE ALSO THE LI THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE TO DATE/MARRY, HOWEVER IT IS STILL SAD THAT IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON THE LOVE 365 APP, BUT IT WON'T AFFECT THE STORY MUCH AS THEY ONLY APPEAR FOR A WHILE [/b]

I love the Voltage stories because they have all the tropes and feels (no explicit stuff though) but My Forged Wedding is especially fluffy and one of the best despite being older. Ren is my favorite here and in My Wedding 7 Rings which is another story I hope they bring to PC soon. I just finished the main story for Ren at the time of this review and there's plenty more content to be seen so this is definitely worth buying.

Overall, some parts I loved, and some I recoil from, but it is from 2011/2012, so take that into consideration XD Though I played this game when I was younger and my favorite/only route was Kunihiko. In the mobile version, he is an option and he isn't actually a relative, just a family friend. In this version, he is a full relative and not an option. Definitely a sad day XD

I cannot recommend this game enough! It is an enjoyable game you can indulge on for a few minutes or hours per day. Even though it doesn't say compatible for deck, it worked on Steam deck as well, so you can enjoy this game on the go! Classic of classics otome games that is now available on Steam ♡. I had been dying to finish the routes of this game, but the app stop working since My Forge Wedding Party was released. I am glad that the routes are available on Steam now. I finished my first route smoothly, and I pick a route I hadn't play before ... I know it is not the same as doing a daily read of 5 tickets per day... so the stories seem shorter than on mobile... BUT... it is so good to have this game back. Love it on mobile, love it on Steam. This is the very first Otome game I played, and I can say maybe you might not like every route, but you are going to end up having one favorite (or maybe two... like I did) Support this game please, so more games are added on Steam. There is way too many games that are lost media at the moment and could use a lovable PC port! If you were curious about other characters featured on this game also try the My Forge Wedding Party! app! It's definitively a little twist I enjoyed! ^ - ~ ♡

OVERALL________________________ I would rate this game 8.5/10: ----Cons--- I wanted there to be the choice of "bad endings" and I also the the verbiage on the choices could be better. It is really hard to tell how two options so close to each other which one is correct in the situation to get that Super happy ending on Wedding Bells. ----Pros---- The storyline is THICK and Juicy perfect for a BOOKTOK romance girlie who loves enemies to lovers trope or arranged marriage. The clip scenes are beautiful and make you want more.... I am curious if the developer will ever continue to seasons 3-5 but seeing how this only has 6 reviews maybe its not getting traction. I demand more of these stories. :D I also really liked how the music changed to fit the story scenes and the music was nice to the ears. With as much content each route has. I do agree with the price range of the game is well worth the buy... seeing how each of the 5 routes; has 15-20 stories each, then anywhere between 2 to 14 episodes PER STORY!! Like it took 20 hours just to finish Yamato's Route. YAMATO______________________ Yamato, My dear sweet Yamato. I think I made a mistake playing Yamato's route first. My brain was processing okay the prolog starts and Yamato shows in the scene before everyone else, therefore I should start with him. The rabbit hole I just fell through. In the beginning the super happy endings were easy peasy to get. It wasn't until "Wedding Bells" that I only got the Happy Ending first and had to go back to get the super happy ending. Yamato's character started to die out after the wedding bells episode. The way he acted seemed different than on the previous stories. I feel like honeymoon story could have been written better instead of Yamato constantly (more than normal compared to other stories) patronizing his wife at every episode. I loved the art, and the story for Yamato flowed really well until "Wedding bells" like the choices would be worded different then what was actually said by the character. And what was said by the script of the character made more sense in the story line then the choice verbiage. So I guess it was slight translation issues or the developer purposely made the stores harder as they went along but waited till the end of the stories to do it??? idk. Takao________________________________________________________________ Loved this route but not more than Yamato's. It took about 18 hours to play. And the special ending after the honeymoon... I wanted more. I really hope that there is a little TAKA baby, but it seems these stories will be left up to fan fiction. If you like tons of "my hero" and a man who kind of treats you like a kid then Takao is your man. not a lot to say about Taka there were times when I wish he was more assertive and I think this is the first character where I could see the couple have an actual argument. Yamato never argued with me. It was this route that made me downloaded Love365 app. For more story. Yuki_______________________ Yukie story could have been better. But I get this game is based off Lov365 so not much changing the story line. I felt the route was cut short especially after only needing 13 hour to complete it... Um the story want juicy on this one... More like a fairytale and lots of distance between the MC and Yuki.... I wanted more during the whole route. But glad I can move on. The art was cute but in my mind he looked wayyyy younger and that me the story more awkward. Takamasa_____________________ I loved this route two. I definitely wanted more options to toy around more. I love taka's passion and possession over the Mc. The story was okay but the "my genuine marriage" story of the Love365 of this route was very "chefs kiss" love the drama and Takas love fir the MC. Ren______________________ I saved the prince for last. I'm half way done with Rens route and I don't think I have laughed as much and fan girl as much with any other characters. Ren is BOLD for Japanese culture. I'm surprised the MC lets him do so much in public compared to the other routes but that's also what makes his route all the more special. I thought I was a due hard Yama fan but then Ren....... I can't choose. I love the banter with Yama, but the boldness and care of Ren has really put him up there. I have decided to continue the game on the app Love365 which I guess why this was released on steam to give you a taste then make you addicted to finding more of the story. But with how much coined each story cost on Love365 I would recommend buying this off steam first then going to Love365 app because it takes $10 just to watch 3 stories on the app.
