My Dream is a Lost Memory is a short narrative-focused indie experience developed and published by LeJunesArt. Built around the concepts of dreams, recollection, and personal reflection, the game presents a simple yet thoughtful story that examines the strange connection between memories and subconscious experiences. Rather than relying on action, puzzles, or complex mechanics, it invites players into a brief journey centered on emotion, introspection, and everyday life. The story begins with a familiar sensation that many people have experienced at least once: the feeling that something has happened before. This sense of déjà vu becomes the foundation for a narrative that explores whether forgotten dreams can resemble lost memories and how our minds blend imagination with reality. The game's writing approaches these ideas from a personal perspective, creating a grounded atmosphere that feels sincere rather than overly dramatic. Its themes revolve around self-awareness, personal growth, work-life balance, and learning to value one's own well-being, giving the experience a surprisingly relatable emotional core. Gameplay is intentionally minimal, functioning primarily as an interactive storytelling experience with simple point-and-click elements. The focus remains firmly on the narrative, allowing players to absorb the dialogue, visuals, and underlying messages without distractions. The game's brief runtime means that every scene serves a purpose, moving the story forward while maintaining a dreamlike pace. While some players may wish for additional content or more interactive systems, the compact structure helps preserve the impact of the story and prevents its ideas from becoming overstretched. Visually, the game embraces a handcrafted artistic style that complements its reflective nature. The illustrations are simple yet expressive, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and slightly melancholic. The presentation does not aim for technical spectacle; instead, it uses modest visuals to support the emotional tone of the narrative. This artistic approach works particularly well because it reinforces the feeling of experiencing fragments of memories rather than witnessing fully detailed events. One of the most appealing aspects of My Dream is a Lost Memory is its willingness to explore ordinary human experiences. Instead of focusing on fantasy adventures or dramatic conflicts, it examines personal struggles that many people can understand. Questions about balancing responsibilities, finding time for oneself, and respecting personal boundaries are woven naturally into the narrative. These themes give the game a sense of authenticity and make its message resonate beyond its short duration. The game's primary limitation is its length. Because the entire experience can be completed in a very short amount of time, there is only limited opportunity to develop its ideas in greater depth. Some players may finish the game wanting more detailed character exploration or additional story paths. However, the concise format can also be viewed as one of its strengths, as it delivers its message efficiently and leaves room for interpretation rather than overexplaining every detail. Overall, My Dream is a Lost Memory is a thoughtful indie title that succeeds through atmosphere, sincerity, and thematic depth rather than mechanical complexity. Its reflective storytelling, personal themes, and dream-inspired narrative create an experience that feels meaningful despite its brief runtime. Players who appreciate experimental storytelling and emotionally driven games will likely find value in its quiet approach, while those seeking extensive gameplay systems may find it too limited. As a short artistic exploration of memory, identity, and self-reflection, it leaves a lasting impression that extends beyond the few minutes required to complete it. Rating: 8/10
Diferente de jogos de terror que buscam o susto,
My Dream is a Lost Memory busca o desconforto da incerteza.
It was a short game so I don't expect too much. The story is nice and its about having a Déjà vu. The art is beautiful. Is just the gameplay kinda confusing sometimes. Not sure when I need to interact with things on a scene. Hopefully the developer improve their skills more in the next game.

Es war wunderbar!
Respeite os sinais...
