What exactly is it you might ask? It is a combination of a time trial racer and brawler with a ton of spicy action! Take control of a character from one of the 4 available; if more than one person chooses the same character they will have a different color assigned, unless you or they have unlocked any more skins. No matter what game mode you play, you will need to grab pinatas spread around the tracks that contain buffs/debuffs (with random contents). They will either give you a weapon or a boost to use to gain an advantage. In single-player mode, you will be racing to beat the clock in time trial racetracks. Your goal is to get that gold medal and the fastest time record. In challenge mode, you take on one of three challenges through every biome that is currently in-game. Each has unique mechanics that are exhilarating and get your heart racing as you master them. I hope for more variety in them as the game reaches full release. In multi-player mode, you will need one or more friends to join you, with up to 4-player couch potato gameplay. This is where the game shines, as the competitive play is fun for the whole family, from us grandparents to our kids and grandchildren! Currently in-game there are three choices of play styles available: Race (single by the track head-to-head racing), Battle (arena-style brawler), and Tourney (multiple races where whoever wins the most races will be the champion). I also hope for a wider variety of these on full release. Battling with friends and family is a riot as you try to take the lead and either destroy your opponents or leave them in your dust, disqualifying them from the race. Released & self-published on Jul 23, 2019, by the developer miniBeast Game Studios. As their first release on Steam, I am very impressed with the game even in its early access point of development. I have tagged it Indie, Family Friendly, Action, Racing, Local Coop, Casual. It is a casual title with a slight learning curve that will not take long to master; it is a little challenging to get gold stars on all levels (practice makes perfect). It has a lot of features in place, with single-player and local coop couch potato gameplay, a colorful simplistic low poly world design from a birds-eye perspective, striking soundtrack and sound effects, and a myriad of items to pick up as you progress through each level. There are currently 16 Unlockable player’s outfits you can purchase (with mustaches earned as you play), 12 exhilarating racetracks through 4 different regions, and 8 battle arenas, 12 challenges, and 18 tournaments give the title a tremendous amount of replayability in its current state, with full controller support! I did have an issue with crashing when tasking out of the title, but this happened a lot less frequently when I enabled the run in background feature in the graphics options and tasked out after using the Steam overlay. When I do not use the overlay it still crashes. I also had an issue on first launch with my duel monitor system. The game loads to a very large resolution in windowed mode that spread across both my screens. The in-game fit to window would not work to get it to fit to one screen. I used my Borderless Gaming application to force it to fullscreen, set it to fit screen and had no issues loading after. I do not imagine this will be an issue with single screen users (I did not test this). These have been reported in the discussions. (This has now been patched :D) A very captivating title for early access, we look forward to seeing where its progression leads at full release. Most of the family have been playing this one with me; we still have a couple of family members who have to get in some game time with us (we are a large gaming family). It is certain to become a regular in our couch potato events at home (unanimous vote by everyone who has played). It's amusing humor, simple colorful graphic style, and insane power-ups are sure to give countless hours of momentous gameplay, both alone & with friends. I have enjoyed it immensely (we all have, even though my kids and grandson make me play my butt off to be able to win about only 1/3 of our competitions). For an aging gamer like myself, I say good show old man (my family can be ruthless in competitive gaming)! For all the local coop lovers out there, this is going to be a must-play. You can play this "top-down battle racer" solo or with 1 to 3 friends locally. For the single-player there are 2 different modes: - Time trials: in this mode you try to be as fast as possible. This mode comes with "power-ups" like speed boosts. There are also some specialized powers such as using bulls to run over the pinata's that are in your way, being a ghost and fly over stuff or bombs, etc. If you activate bombs they will blow up in your face. You're supposed to throw away the bomb and not activate it. - Challenge mode: in this mode you find 3 different kinds of challenges. All of them require you to be fast, but in one of them you need to be really fast to find the Mystical Piñata. In another you just have to stay in front of the dreaded Evil Stampede, which doesn't allow you to make big mistakes during the race otherwise they will catch up on you. And the last type of challenge is having two characters at the same time, and they have to be on the screen all the time. I was really really bad at this last type of challenge. Having to move 2 different characters with the left and right stick on the controller wasn't my thing. Both the single-player modes are very challenging and will keep you busy for hours. In the local multiplayer mode you have 3 different modes: - Race mode: the camera will follow the person that is in front and you win if no other characters are visible on the screen anymore. - Battle mode: this is like the battle mode in Mario Kart. You have to use all kind of different weapons against the other players for points. If you get hit 3 times you will be removed from the level for a few seconds and respawn on a random spot on the map. - Tournament: in this mode you have a combination of maps from the two modes above. The power-ups in the multiplayer mode are very funny, you can find a mallet and then the other players will change into avocados. they will walk a lot slower and you can smash then down. There is also a Flaming burrito which you throw at other players or a mega burrito for which you need to have line of sight to throw without having to aim for the other player. [h1]Music and Sounds[/h1] The music in this game is what you expect by a game with a Mexican theme. It is not outstanding, but not annoying either. What is annoying is your character which will say a line every time you pick up a power-up. The characters only have a few lines each which mean that very quickly you will hearing the same lines over and over again. [h1]Controls[/h1] I played this game with a controller and that worked out very nice. I prefer a controller with this kind of games to the keyboard, though that is definitely an option. You can also have one player using the keyboard and anyone else using a controller. [h1]Achievements[/h1] Most of the achievements are grindy. All have to be done with player1 in the game. The other players will not be able to unlock them for you. You have achievements for using the different power-ups 100 times, or in case of the speed boost, 1000 times. Win 150 battles in multiplayer, win 150 races in multiplayer. The hardest achievements will be to get all the gold trophies in the time trial mode, beat all the challenges and being able to buy all the outfits for the 4 characters. This is hard because you only unlock credits when you beat a time trial or challenge in the singleplayer mode. You'll not earn credits if you failed to get a trophy or when playing in multiplayer mode. [h1]Verdict[/h1] I enjoyed this game a lot after I got used to the top-down camera angle instead of the one that follows you from behind. This is not a game I would play for hours on end but is fun from time to time. The multiplayer mode is a lot of fun. The single-player mode is really hard in my opinion, but keep in mind that I don't play many racing games. I would rate it 6.5/10. [code]I received the product for free. Got this game to have something fun to play with family and the nephew. Great game and the wee man can't stop repeating some of the sound effects (BBBUUURRRIIITTTOOO) and doing the victory dance animations! Priceless laughs all round and when his face isn't right at the TV and the adults get a proper turn we get pretty competitive, reminiscent of classic micro machines.

Been playing lunch times at work with a 3 others and we've been having a blast! Pure unadulterated fun! Vote for Pedro!

16€ is overprized for this game… I won’t say that Must Dash Amigos is a horrible game, but it isn’t good either. It can be fun for a couple of hours, but not more. In fact, the gameplay is very simple: You and your opponents run in circles around the map (similar to Speedrunners). You need to get the other players out of the screen by being faster than them. In order to do so, you can use different items as for example boosts, guacamole to make them slip, burrito-rockets, etc. The graphics are rather simple, but acceptable. All in all, not a great game…

As I left the start line I found "Pedro" easy to control. As we passed the lap marker Pedro and I had become a team. When I used an ability that encouraged Pedro to trail a red cape behind him there was a brief moment of confusion ... then a bull showed up and as I mounted I had become Pedro, winner of races. Take my advice you must dash amigos. So pleased to see the fun of same room gaming back and in form. Entertaining solo, just add amigos to raise the bar to awesome.

Good graphics, UI, sounds. Not many other local-multiplayer (couch multiplayer) games out there for PC. The race mode is pretty fun and works well on a big screen with four players. Reminds me a bit of the old 'Wacky Wheels' game!

Before I bash the [spoiler]censored[/spoiler] out of this game, can we take a minute and talk about time trial mode? Why, the [spoiler]CENSORED[/spoiler], do you immediately take a -1s penalty on your first lap, because the lap timer starts counting before your character can even move? I wouldn't normally complain about something so small and petty... but this game's time trial mode probably wasn't even tested. Or it was tested by a [spoiler]censoreding[/spoiler] TAS. The turning circles for each character are awful. You'll get slowed down by even going near the edge of the track, without actually stepping off it. Most power-ups are useless. The single player content isn't particularly fun, and nobody in their right mind should be playing the multiplayer because this game doesn't deserve to be bought in the state it's in. Does anybody remember Simpsons: Hit and Run from the PS2? Of those that do, do you remember the top-down racing multiplayer game that was in it? You remember how, even back in 2003, you'd play it and think "Wow, this kinda sucks"... ...Well that top-down racer was arguable better than this, in all ways (except for the graphics). Yea, don't buy this. And, to everyone who wasted a choice on humble to pick this up [myself included]: F. 2/10. Garbage. But the graphics aren't terrible.

Got this from humble bundle. This game is terrible, what is it even doing on a PC? This is a clear console game designed for a local COOP with multiple controllers. Also is buggy crap, i tried running challenges and game started with 2 players at starting line without anything else happening. Alt + F4 and uninstall. Do not recommend

Crazy fun! Been playing at work with colleagues and home with family. If you have played this sort of game in the past, then you won't be disappointed!
