About
MusicHell is an intense, Musical bullet hell where every projectile is perfectly synced to the music!
Dodge waves of bullets that fire in intricate patterns perfectly timed to the beat, one wrong move and your run is over!
Simple Controls: One-stick movement (gamepad, WASD, or mouse/pen), making it super easy to pickup.
Take on escalating stages across all kinds of music genres, each one cranking up the density and speed for pure rhythmic chaos. It’s a true rhythm bullet hell hybrid: projectiles don’t just spawn on the beat, they redirect, split, and react to the music mid-flight.
The built-in level editor lets you create custom stages with your music and share them instantly through the Steam Workshop!

Catchy songs, flashy lights and enjoyable gameplay ... what more could one ask for?
I like where this game's idea is right now, the attack patterns are very well designed and I was impressed with how fluid they moved around. Sometimes the attacks feel unfairly random since they lock onto your position but I dont think thats necessarily a bad thing, just might need some tweaking (then again it was mostly on the higher difficulty levels I noticed this so maybe it's just a skill issue.) The songs are overall pretty good, and the implementation of a level editor and steam workshop this early in the game's lifetime is very cool to see. (Although, one song sounded like it was made with AI, so take that as you might, no shade to the composer at all) The game gets a little bit choppy on startup but afterwards it runs smoothly, the menu was a bit jerky but I think that was just due to the amount of songs since when I got a song from the steam workshop it worked fine. In terms of the game's visuals, I think the game has a solid art direction. I do feel like the background gets a little bit plain and could use some variation or even react to the song. But since the player's focus should be surviving it also makes sense as to not have a very flashy backdrop. The lighting looks good, especially on the attacks, and the little ball that you control is fun. As for issues i had with the game, there weren't many. When winning a level I found it a little bit awkward to have to go to the menu and leave to the main menu. I think after the player beats the level the game should automatically go back to the level select screen. All of the menus worked well and the steam workshop also worked. In general, the game feels very static right now, almost slow paced. Adding some visual affects like some screenshake or like the camera pulsing to the beat of the song could be a very cool addition, and it would help liven up the game. Overall, this game has potential to be a pretty good game. After adding some things to make the game feel alive and adding some more songs to the roster, this game could be awesome. Overall a 6.8/10 with lots of room to grow.
Really great game and has a lot of potential. But would love to see alot of quality of life changes and features in the future, such as having a score for perfect dodges to the projectiles and how many times you failed the song etc for the features would be great having more skins to the ball you are playing with, maybe background themes. Nonetheless the concept is really good and worth the money
Very fun game, movement feels smooth, and the songs are catchy. Would recommend and waiting for more polish once it is out of Early Access.
