While it has appealing graphics and natural ambiance, Berries Challenge is a hollow, pointless exercise to click and drag produce to a basket, and then trek back to your truck. There's no progression, no challenge, and most importantly, no fun to be had.
Berries represents one of the latest iterations of Steam shovelware, likely cobbled together with easily obtainable assets and little to no care for the user experience. The game's starting screen serves as both a flimsy tutorial and an upgrade menu, telling you each berry's value and teasing you with things to buy to presumably make better gains. But, spoiler: They don't really do anything. Upon clicking start, you'll be spawned in a dense woodlands, with nothing but a basket. You must click and hold this basket as you walk around in search of brightly colored foliage with tiny berries underneath its leaves. This miracle plant can spawn all four varieties of berries at once, luckily for us. Clicking on a berry will pluck it, after which you can put it in the basket or eat it. Eating it is meant to serve the purpose of restoring stamina in hardcore mode, but--big surprise--they don't. Not only do you run the risk of depleting your stamina after eating a berry, you are also plastered with blinding hue effects. These berries are actually drugs! Returning to the truck is how to cash out your run, and with your newfound wealth you can buy a bigger basket, a knife (that does nothing but add a passive point multiplier), stones to create trails if you venture out too far, a horn, and a bear. I mean dog. But it's a bear. The horn teases us about enemies in the game (wolves), but I couldn't find a single one. The bear-dog points you in the direction of bushes. And that's about it. None of these are necessary. While the game is playable, it's not fun. Speaking of which, it's littered with bugs. I lost count:

The game loses focus each time you start, making the mouse unresponsive. Try clicking over the black text box to continue.
You can clip or run off the map and get stuck in infinite freefall
If you try resetting a run, the truck randomly stops prompting exit. To be safe, you must exit to menu each attempt.
Not a single berry restores stamina
No objects (besides the truck) have collision. You can phase through the trees
Berry bushes spawn in across the map after starting. Meaning, you'll see them pop in out of nowhere as you begin to search
TL;DR - Overpriced asset flip with easy achievements. Get it if you're a collector, but only if discounted all the way. Otherwise, pass. Consider all of the challenge games at risk of removal, if valve QC audits them. Achievement Hunters: Pick one of each berry. That's it. Easily obtainable in <1 min by running to the first visible bush and clicking on each berry type once.

"Berries Challenge" is not a game, unless you count picking random types of berries in a forest as gameplay. There's no point to this and certainly no "challenge" to be found here either. Instead it's a mess of random assets held together by the least amount of glue possible. Once you've picked your first handful of berries - blueberries, raspberries, physalis (?) and others which oddly enough all seem to grow on the same plant - you've already seen the entire gameplay loop. It's telling that the achievements all unlock while picking clean your first bush. There's stuff in this "game" which certainly feels odd, like the gazillion languages you can apparently play in - but selecting any of them does exactly nothing, likely because the Google Translate asset the "developer" plugged in doesn't work. Or the very strangely designed menu which at least offers a choice of resolution and quality. In the end this "game" is just another lazy attempt of making a quick buck off unsuspecting gamers. The insane asking price on Steam is as much testament to that as the fact the game is offered for mere cents on bundle sites. The laziness is also displayed in the fact that while the "developer" bothered to build the game for Windows, MacOS and Linux they just threw all three versions into the same Steam depot so every platform gets to download the entire game three times. That's what depots are for, man. Use them. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy this rubbish. I didn't even find the bear - 0/10 game.
Developers are basically scammers sellings 5-minutes assets-flips at inflated price with some "amazing discount" for games that aren't worth 0.5 $.
ummmmm game is a bit buggy😅😅😅😅and not the best balanced but its so good for if you like berryes
pikabu! where is my berry? nature, challenge ? ... , game graphics does not reflect my expectations - as there is no gameplay at all. I would wish that this developer would study more how to create a good game and exceed consumer expectations.
Nothing works, not even the camera. Sometimes you move and the camera just stutters until it feels like working again. Sometimes the basket just drops berries out of it when it doesn't feel like holding them anymore. Sometimes the butterflies block the whole camera. Sometimes the menu button does not take you to the menu. And there is no bear.
Beautiful berries-collecting simulator. As a game, waste of time! Only for Achievement hunters. Easy Achievements 100% / 2min.
Boş bir oyun berry topluyorsun çok bug var sepetin var onu basılı tutup taşıyorsun berryleride öyle basılı tutup alıp sepete atıyorsun bir çalılık bulup bütün berryleri toplayıp götürüp arabanın kasasına bırakıyorsun sana puan söylüyor
