Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 17.71/day in the week to Aug 8 → 15.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have tried to get into this game multiple times, there are things I like about it, the gameplay feels good, though I can't in good faith recommend the average person to buy this game in it's current state. First off, buying this game without Muse Plus is equivalent to paying for a demo, if you were planning on only getting the base game itself and NOT the DLC then this is a hard pass and not worth your time, I'm one of the lucky ones who were around to get the "Just as Planned" DLC when that was still on the store so the rest of this review is assuming that you're buying all of the content available, but even with Muse Plus there are still microtransactions that you'd need to buy to get all of the content, and I can't imagine those would be very worth for what the game offers. In Muse Dash you will have access to an extremely large list of songs, which sounds great on paper, though if your taste in music mainly consists of anime openings then most tracks aren't going to be up your alley, my biggest issue with the game is the complete lack of variety in music, most songs blend together for me and the soundtrack gets old very quickly. This is obviously a non-issue if you have a different taste in music from me. The charting in Muse Dash is fine for the most part, occasionally you'll find some genuinely very cool gimmick charts, a lot of the time you'll find charts with the same general style that, much like the music, mostly blend together and don't often do anything creative or memorable, this game is certainly quantity over quality in this aspect. You'll find some diamonds in the rough but you do have to wade through a lot of rough to get there. I would generally not recommend going above the 10 star difficulty range as most charts in the 11-12 range are extremely overcharted and feel awful to play, it feels like they're made for the sole purpose of being a hardcore challenge and didn't take into account how it flows, rarely you'll find a good 11 but I feel confident in saying that every 12 in this game is not a good chart. This game has a large selection of characters all with different abilities, if you care about score there ARE meta characters that you will HAVE to use, and which characters are best vary from chart to chart. If you don't care about score, there are some abilities that offer such a great advantage that it feels like cheating, you can equip a familiar that disables the effects of the characters but it comes at the cost of not using the optimal character/familiar combo, frankly this is just a bad system, you can play a chart identically to someone else but get a worse score because of your choice in attire, or you can be disincentivized out of using a character that you just like the aesthetics of because their ability is absurdly obtrusive to just playing the game as it was designed. Modding and customs do exist, they aren't supported by the devs at all but they're out there and they help with some of the issues I have and are worth mentioning. The modding community is pretty gatekeepy and unwelcoming unfortunately, plus a large portion of custom charts kinda just feel like more of the same type of music you'd already find in the base game, not really an issue with the game itself just something I figured was also worth mentioning. As for the elephant in the room, obviously, this game is very sexualized, and that sexualization not limited to women of a questionable age, for many this is a dealbreaker and I fully understand being turned away by this, though for a specific group of people boobs and butts are an upside even if it comes at the cost of occasionally getting jumpscared by the child character. I'm really not sure why the devs feel the need to do this, but you can be the judge on where you cross the line. Finally, I'm perhaps saving the biggest point against this game for last here, but you can search up on the steam store right now for a game called UNBEATABLE and find a functionally identical game but with none of the issues I stated above. UNBEATABLE has it's own set of issues but is generally a direct upgrade to this game in terms of gameplay, mechanics, presentation, ost, and community. Muse Dash feels like a game with a lot of potential but doesn't really quite hit it for me, it is by no means a bad game despite all of my annoyances with it, but I would consider it more like a second cake than a truly great standalone game.
