Very fun night crawler fun. Tight controls, but doesn't take itself seriously.
Your superpower is just an incredibly satisfying dash-dodge that has 5 charges and a very fast cooldown. What more could you want? (Though this game has plenty more to offer)
真滴解压
A great game with a simple gimmick... teleporting! Or 'Shifting' as said in the game, overall its an ability they fully utilize, using clever layouts, and enemies specifically tailored to work around your powers. If you want a simple top down beat 'em up, this is the game for you!
very fire
infravalorado!!! lo conseguí por menos de 1 dolar y me lleve una sorpresa, tiene buena curva de dificultad y te exige arto tiempo de reacción para esquivar, recomendado solo si lo pillas en oferta porque el juego es corto
Mr Shifty is a top down melee brawler where the whole gimmick is that you have a teleport button. The teleport ability is fun and feels pretty good to use, at least, when the game actually let's you use it. Overall, I enjoyed the game, but much of the level design just feels frustrating and unfun to me. The basement levels are easily the worst offenders. There are many sections that force you to sit down and do nothing while you wait for something to happen, which I found kind of odd for a game that has an achievement for speedrunning the game. For me, the best example of flat out unfun level design is a room is one of the basement levels that has 4, count em, 4 rocket launcher turrets that you are forced to destroy before you can leave, which you can only do by baiting them into blowing themselves up, which, in that specific room, has about a 50/50 shot of also one tapping you each time due to how close the turrets are to the walls. There are also long stretches, sometimes in the middle of fights, where the game just completely removes your ability to teleport, turning you into an out of shape guy with a pair of fists, which in most fights, will get you killed almost every time. I did enjoy the game, and I thought the core gimmick was cool, but it often feels like the level design is counterintuitive for what makes the game interesting. It was still pretty alright though, despite my grievances. 7/10.
simply amazing, you can play years later or days later and have great fun, simple operfect
It's a little rough around the edges, but one of the best beat-em-ups I have played!
