For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Experience the complexities and challenges of modern American leadership in this faithful digital adaptation of GMT Games’ acclaimed board game Mr. President: The American Presidency 2000-2020. Step into the Oval Office during two decades that transformed America and the world.

Select your Cabinet and guide your administration through pivotal moments in recent history - as well as those that didn’t happen, but could have. What if the global financial crisis had happened earlier - or been even worse? What if violence in Central or South America escalated to create a cartel-dominated rogue state? What if outsourcing and automation, or an oil price spike, drove a domestic political crisis? Make the crucial decisions that will define - or tarnish - your presidential legacy.
Play any of the five historical scenarios as DLCs - one for each of the presidential terms from 2000 to 2020 - and see if you can do better than your historical counterpart. Can you pass Social Security reform in the early 2000s? Protect the world from a nuclear Iran or North Korea? Hammer out lasting immigration reforms? Or play the sandbox scenario, which represents the general trends of these two decades. In addition to dealing with diplomatic and domestic crises, you’ll nominate Supreme Court justices and shepherd their confirmation hearings; manage scandals; run your re-election campaign; work with Congress to pass your legislative agenda; and build a capable and effective Cabinet.
The digital version maintains everything that made the original board game compelling:
Over 150 different Crisis events, both historical and counterfactual
Specific action lists and agendas for America’s key allies and adversaries - no recycled gameplay that makes Israel and Canada seem the same except for the flag
Choose from a large menu of action choices at every turn - and agonize how to spend your limited action budget
Prioritize America’s strategic capabilities, from cyber warfare to space to intelligence gathering, always with an eye to America’s peer rivals Russia and China
But now you can focus purely on strategy, while the game handles all the administrative tasks that slowed down tabletop play.
Every table and action list you need is a mouse click away
Seamless board view that lets you slide effortlessly between the big picture and the crisis of the moment
Scenario setup in seconds
Whether you're a fan of the original board game or new to presidential politics, this digital adaptation offers the perfect blend of accessibility and depth. Make the hard choices. Shape history. Experience the presidency.

Is this game difficult: Yes Is this game fun: Yes Is this game a good digitization of the board game: Yes I'd like to address many of the negative reviews for Mr. President Digital by reminding those reviewers that this is a difficult and complex adaptation of a difficult and complex board game. GMT games, and Hermann Luttmann games in particular, are winding, complex epics. These games are meant to present a never-ending cycle of difficult choices. They are not particularly forgiving, but neither is the subject matter. Mr. President does a good job of exploring the difficulties in leadership faced by the United States beginning in 2001. This adaptation adds significant automation and eases the minutiae of the physical version. My only regret is that I probably will not be bringing the physical version out now.

I'm throwing in my review to balance out the negative reviews, which I honestly think are pretty unfair. It's a faithful recreation of the board game and frankly that's all it needs to be, and I love it myself. It's very sandbox-y and it feels like every run is a little different thanks to the luck factor. Sometimes it screws you over, sometimes you win big, but there's plenty of ways to tip it in your favor with enough strategy.
It gets a positive review from me despite all the bugs. It's an early access game and I have yet to see a polished early access game. You've got to know what you're getting in to. It's got a lot of potential and I've enjoyed the time I have played in the sandbox. If anything, you're supporting a small developer and your feedback can help them make it better. There is no better President simulator out there.
The game currently crashes at the propose new legislation stage, so is essentially uplayable.
The PC version of a game expose its weakness. It is so random and most of events are negative. Generally here you just press 'space' for next step all the time and everytime you do something good the game will shift it back and make it worse. I wanted to enjoy it - maybe if the game with go out of early access I will try it again.
TLDR the idea is good but the game crashes. You should realize that that's basically a digitalized tabletop game. If this doesn't scare you then worth trying. Pros: + Pretty deep immersion to geopolitics and internal affairs, a lot of areas covered well + I think this is replayable Cons: - Crashes - Learning curve is not for everyone
If you enjoy Paradox Game and managing a lot at once, then you will enjoy this. This game is a near perfect replicate of a very complicated game. The pace of play is a big negative and the simplification of American politics in favor of something simple sacrifices nuance. Looking forward to QoL improvements and bug fixes. Good job.
