Cat in the Box

因为是M所以点了推荐，没有该癖好的需要谨慎购入。 后期追逐战几乎没有任何容错，解密引导不算好，结局的分支在特别前期的地方，这意味着即使存了档，想打全成就收集，所有的追逐战也需要再来一遍，不过好消息是玩到二周目基本上都有肌肉记忆了。 不是M的话也推荐觉得日子过得很顺的朋友们游玩。

Мне нравится как в этой игре построено повествование. Все таки троп "герой приезжает исследовать проклятый особняк" очень хорошо работает в играх. Героиня действительно вызывает сопереживание, а происходящее кажется убедительным в рамках игры и не вызывает испанского стыда. Нет ничего лишнего, только сама история с крутым финальным твистом в духе одного известного артхаусного триллера. P.S. В миллиард раз лучше чем кринжовый Mad Father с его идиотским сюжетом, где гг ничего не знает про свой собственный дом.

I've always had a soft spot for RPG Maker games, especially horror-based ones that know how to pace themselves with a limited runtime that doesn't overly frustrate the player with an egregious amount of jank and unnecessary mechanics and puzzles that have absolutely no logic behind them due to a lack of testing and an overinflated ego. That said, as one can imagine, this filters out a good portion of the general genre, and I'm happy to say that Cat in the Box is one of the good ones that stands out in the ever-growing sea Horror RPG Maker releases. Cat in the Box does a fantastic job with its atmosphere as you traverse through an abandoned mansion looking to create ghostly content for your channel. Once you arrive, however, things quickly get out of control, and it becomes a deep psychological rollercoaster of hide-and-seek, exploration, and survival. Cat in the Box continues to surprise with its story beats, use of sound, and clever weaving of the rooms that you find yourself in either through basic unlocks, keys, side-entrances, or outright brute force. However you end up in these rooms, everything seamlessly connects to create a cohesive trek through a mansion of regrets and evil apparitions. For a RPG Maker game, Cat in the Box does better than most to instill that sense of discomfort under your skin and ensure that, by the time your roughly 2-3 hours of torment are up, you walk away with a memorable experience that causes you to feel as relieved(?) as the main character (this ultimately depends on the ending you get, and even then...). Kudos to the dev on a job well done here. Excited for other works that more or less share the same format. I'll be playing Tide Up next to experience more horror RPG Maker goodness. Definitely worth it for the $3.99 I paid for it on sale, and truthfully I think its original asking price is actually fair as well if you enjoy these sort of games. A lot here that also had me thinking of other greats like Mad Father, Misao, Paper Lily, and The Witch's House to name a few.

整体游玩体验非常好，彩蛋也很多。就是追逐战有点不当人。游戏内的存档机会是有限的，一周目玩的时候不敢乱用。

非常恐怖非常美妙游戏体验ヽ(*。>Д<)o゜ 有追逐战，被追到了有突脸元素 后期追逐容错率很低，剧情类似[spoiler]恐怖游轮(?在最后的结局Epitaph中能看到帮助我们的老己跳楼了 周围全是不同轮回老己跳楼的血印[/spoiler]多亏了攻略才能全成就但是也因为这样只玩了1.5周目 一周目的档打到Epitaph结局帮助我们的某人[spoiler]头套摘了是老己，名字也是相同的，猜想如果多周目可能会是之前起过的名字[/spoiler] 恐怖气氛塑造的很好，总有各种东西/人突然走过去或者追逐主控（没有追逐战 只是出现），后期天使雕像[spoiler]偷偷乱动 并刷新在任何堵路的地方也很可怕（哭泣天使既视感，看攻略也不敢在一个房间呆久www天使动了！）[/spoiler]还有追逐战死太多次 会触发[spoiler]一些闪回画面 疑似人脸图案地板(? 强制退游 大眼睛[/spoiler]
