Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cool game Reminds me of Fallout shelter a bit. But Mr.Prepper require more user input and has more activities thus making the gameplay more rich, fun and interesting. Looking forward to see Mr.Prepper 2

Like many others already reviewed, its missing alot of QoL features. And it is extremely tedious. The controls feel clunky and not responsive and everything seems to happen in slo-mo. Yet the settings seems to be fun but the "feel" of the game is somehow missing. Also below 70% finishing the tutorial is pretty telling. Definately get this on sale only.
Desperately needs some quality of life improvements. There's no reason not to run during all movement. Menus are clunky and do not pause time so you can waste a lot of time looking at them. I can't make trades if there's something in the mailbox that I can't take out (inventory full/overweight). Each day is short, half of it is spent napping, and there's a long loading screen in between days. I didn't make it very far before setting this down. Could be a good game if they took the time to polish it instead of making DLCs.
Positives: - interesting theme - getting new recipes and crafting is fun Cons - really bad UI without shortcut for most often used operations - story can stall and has only one way to solve it, so if you missed a small part somewhere you have no idea where or what to search for (example; raised relations with neighbours to max, but didn't solve the quest to get their approval .. ) - a lot of repetitive actions and losing time walking from place to place - cannot deconstruct multiple large items in automatic way, have to do each one separately
At first I loved the game but now as I played more the lag makes the game unplayable (note that the game is below 20% of my system resources - CPU, GPU), changing graphic settings has no effect. So now I can't even finish the game. Until this is fixed I can't recommend it.
This is gonna be lengthy, and contain spoilers, but I've hidden the most important ones. Now, you see, this game has a mechanic where the "law" says what you can have and what not. They even give you a checklist on first inspection in the tutorial.
But: woe is me, the game has more forbidden things than given in the official checklist!
Luckily, the game shows those things when you "inspect" a thing.
Chicken? 0-2 are ok. Chicks? 0-3 are ok. Nothing of that on the checklist, but well, the game gives you the information, if you're not too lazy to read.
Then, there's things which come gradually.
Use too much water? Uhh, off to jail. At least someone warns you before that. If you're willing to read your mail. So, the game gives you that information.
Now to the problem:
Unfortunately, the game also has forbidden things which are documented NOWHERE. Can't have more than 3 animals, for example. But the game hides this information until you run into the trap, and you have to remember that trap for your next runs. Which is stupid, from the game's lore's perspective. Why should the player's knowledge about hidden rules change the outcome in this setting?!
So, that makes it a No, unfortunately. Stupid decision, maybe lazy, I don't know, but at least a really bad one, in my eyes.
At first, I wasn't sure of what to make of this one. Could a game be fun if it was pretty much only the base-building section of X-COM 2? And my initial impression wasn't favorable: it seemed to have all of the downsides of a slow, dull farming game with all of the downsides of a game where the combat is basically "spam the attack button". And as I got out of the early game and realized that sooner or later, I was going to have to farm AND go to the mine AND go to the forest every day or most days... yikes. But once I got into the mid-game, Mr Prepper made a believer out of me: this is a game that gets progressively more fun the longer you play it! This applies to every system in the game. As you upgrade your workbench, the systems that you were sure could not be automated suddenly become automated -- sometimes without you noticing it. Farming becomes less of a chore as water transfers automatically into your crops. The mine becomes less of a chore as you gain the ability to refine your own fuel. That opens up the desert, which has more dynamic, fun combat... don't get me wrong, it's still not challenging but at least it becomes interesting and engaging. The forest never stops being a chore but at least you get some nice rewards out of it. As your various input materials improve, your ability to make money quickly improves, which in turn gives you the ability to automate more and more functions and before long you have a lovely little engine going. It was particularly interesting how all of this kind of snuck up on me: every time I played, my enthusiasm to play more went up. So kudos to the devs for building this fun, engaging system. I'm enjoying myself a lot! The graphics are... the graphics. They're about as good as they need to be for this kind of game. You'll never ooh or ahhh over your creations, but you'll get satisfaction out of setting them up and organizing them. The music and sound effects, likewise, is also just good enough to work. You'll quickly associate the sounds with what they mean in-game even if most of them don't make a lot of sense (the only exception to the odd status sounds is that you actually get a stomach growl sound when you're hungry). And finally, the story is just interesting enough to pull you along and keep you coming back for more. It's not a stand-out, but it's not a detriment either. So, all in all, there's a really good time to be found here, particularly at the most common price. 8/10.
