Mr. Maze

This is the best game of all time. For only 2 bucks you can have 60 hours of fun. This game has the deepest story of any cheap game. The attention to detail is amazing.

AWESOME Game!! For the record I'm fairly new to gaming and do make use of guides and tips, and I definitely needed help in some parts. That said, the game itself ran smoothly for me--no bugs, no glitches--and had a story that pulled me in and kept me going. I didn't like the dark parts (and there are many--literally you are blind in the dark)--but trial and error got me through. I'm claustrophobic too and that made some parts really tough, but again, I persevered and made it through. I thought the SIM people were creepy but oh well. This game reminds me (in a dark twisted way) of Eastshade (my very favorite game!)...the scenery, the day/night cycles--even a certain character's voice (Andrew)...but I digress. The only thing I wish was different is the save option: the game saves when you complete a level/chapter but there were times when I needed to leave and thus lost a lot of progress. An automatic save or save slots would be really appreciated! This was a wonderful game that kept me enthralled for 15 hours--and I was able to finish it! Bravo to the developer and team and I look forward to more from them!!

You get what you expect. Mazes and a lot of silent walking. If you lack the patience for that, like me, skip it as you don't miss out on anything.

Good engrossing game. Especially for people with no spacial awareness, like myself. Played the demo but there is so much more.

One of the most epic games of all time. it rivals even Call of Duty. Wow Shame its over.

I came, I saw, I walked through some mazes. Better than you would think, incredibly strange, but with a weirdly tight lore and story line. It's definitely not a serious storyline, and the gameplay isn't anything to really write home about but I was definitely drawn in and and was excited to get to the ending. This game isn't a AAA game, and you shouldn't expect AAA features, but it punches far, far above its price, especially since I got it on sale for less than $2. ** S P O I L E R W A R N I N G** My biggest complaint is that you don't get sent to Inferno. I was seriously hyped for the ULTIMATE maze and it was a let down to not get sent there. I definitely feel I got way more content than I expected, but if a Mr. Maze 2 gets made and Inferno isn't in it I'll riot.

Well to get some things out of the way I experienced a lot of framerate drops and a lot of the puzzles are drawn out, not because of what you actually have to do in them, I expected a lot of walking through mazes in a game called "Mr. maze" but more as drawn out because of how slow your characters movement speed is. The writing and dialogue is cheesy and cliche but in a surprisingly good way to be honest, the story was actually pretty good even if it's a little bit formulaic, it's quite a cute story with some wholesome moments in it. The game has it's fair share of intentional funny moments where it actually got me to laugh. And the developer definitely knows about camera work and cinematography for the cutscenes, the cutscenes are actually shot very well in my opinion. Overall even if this game is very cheap and has it's fair share of problems, I can tell that a lot of work and a lot of heart was put into making this, and that's what truly matters. I feel the dev set out to make a fun game with the limited supplies he had and I'd say he very much succeeded! It is very fun and well worth the $3.99 price tag.

Creative, fun, unexpected and unique. It's not perfect, yet I wouldn't ask to change a thing. There's soul and vision in there. I need to play more games like this.
