Mousebusters, also known by some players as “Mouse Busters”, is a story-driven adventure game about tiny mice fighting ghosts.
You just moved into your new place, and are excited to settle in…when all of a sudden, you get turned into a mouse! Thankfully, you soon meet a fellow rodent who knows how to help.
He asks you to call him “Chief,” and explains that there’s only one way to break the curse: by ridding the whole apartment building of the ghosts that haunt its inhabitants!
In each apartment, you'll find a different ghost—but it won't be that easy to track them down. It seems they prey on negative emotions, so in order to smoke them out, you'll have to do some major recon to figure out each resident's biggest insecurities. Just don't get caught!
Luckily, you won't have to go it alone, because you'll be in frequent contact with the Chief throughout each mission. From his comfy desk at HQ, he'll offer plenty of guidance and comedic commentary as you scour the building and solve puzzles to find each ghost.
Once you've tracked down the source of each resident's woes, you'll have to whip out your trusty ray gun and perform a good ol' fashioned exorcism. Protect yourself from projectiles while targeting their weak points to expose their spectral cores!
Over the course of your investigations, you'll slowly uncover more and more evidence that suggests something far more ominous is going on with this building...and it seems the Chief knows more about the curse than he's letting on. Just how deep does this conspiracy go?

Beautiful. Just when I was thinking "Ok yeah this is cute. Maybe starting to feel like it's a little overly simple, but I like it!" it snagged me and took me for a ride I had to see to the end, and even when it was over I was still doing whatever I can to dig up more. Such a gem.
Derrière son apparence mignonne et son univers pixelisé, le jeu propose une aventure bien plus riche qu'il n'y paraît. L'exploration de l'immeuble est agréable, les énigmes sont variées et suffisamment accessibles pour ne jamais devenir frustrantes. J'ai également apprécié la progression qui introduit régulièrement de nouvelles situations, ce qui évite toute sensation de répétition. Les dialogues sont bien écrits, les missions s'enchaînent naturellement et le rythme est bien maîtrisé. Le jeu sait alterner entre moments légers, humour et passages plus émotionnels. On s'attache rapidement aux personnages et aux habitants de l'immeuble, chacun ayant sa propre histoire. Les thèmes abordés sont parfois touchants et traités avec beaucoup de justesse. Je ne m'attendais pas à être autant investie émotionnellement, et je dois même avouer avoir versé une petite larme à certains moments. Une aventure pleine de charme, de cœur et d'émotion, portée par une écriture soignée et des personnages attachants.

全クリしたのでレビューの投稿をさせていただきます。 ゲームとしてはシューティングよりストーリーに重きを置いた作品だと感じました。 ストーリー：6 シューティング：3 ミニゲーム：1 といった配分な感じです。 じゃあシューティングの要素は単調なものなのかというとそうでもなく、各ボスのバトルコンセプトがあってユニークな内容となっており、シューティング系を全くプレイしない自分でもマイナスなストレスを感じることなく楽しめました。 で、重点を置いたストーリーはというとシンプルながらも話の流れに違和感のないお話でした。 特に詰まることなく進められて5時間ほどで全クリできるものですが、途中でだれることなく最後まで続けたくなるものでしたので、1500円ほどでこの内容なら満足感、充足感をしっかりと満たしてくれるので、とてもお得かと思います。 個人的には「ねずみバスターズ！」のタイトル回収の流れがとても良かったですし、後半ではボス戦に入る度に「ねずみバスターズ出動！」と思ってプレイするほど感情移入してました。 Odencatさんの作品を初見でもとても楽しめましたし、過去作をプレイしていると別の感動があると思いますので是非とも遊んでいただきたいです。 以下蛇足 個人的に「ねずみがおばけ退治」のコンセプトをとても気に入っているので、世界観を引き継いだちょっとシューティングアクションよりのスピンオフを出して欲しいなと思いました。 本編との繋がりはない～ちょっとあるくらいの関係で、シューティングアクション重視で操作自体を楽しめるくらいの内容だと自分的には嬉しいです。

我喜欢Odencat的每一款游戏。 从demo开始，我就开始期待《魔鼠克星》，玩到最后也几次泪目，果然Odencat的游戏在这方面实在太擅长了。 但。 我这次我想聊一些让我觉得遗憾的地方。 《魔鼠克星》的前面几关的体验，真的，非常无趣！ 我一度觉得开发者是不是也染上了文青病，沉迷于抒发着自己对于人生的看法——这没有什么不好，但作为一个剧情游戏，每个角色的登场，都应该存在其“理由”。但我直到玩到最后也没感觉到这群邻居，非得是“这群人”的理由。 感觉这群人的设计，无非是创作团队聚在一起，把一些“生活的烦恼”偶然凑在一起的结果。 其次，这游戏类似虽说是《动作冒险》，但实际上感觉更像是《视觉小说》——玩家通过探索，触发写好的剧情。 明明是主角缩小这么有趣的主题，但游戏却剥夺了玩家的“探索欲”。每次探索都会被前辈打断，好奇心很快就消失光了。 其实到这里，我就知道，开发者并没有文青病——恰恰相反，他们太知道自己擅长什么了。 之前看过Odencat的一个文章，叫做《从想看的场景触发的游戏设计》。很显然，这个游戏便是这种思维下的产物。 这样也许可以量产合格的游戏，但是，像是《梅格与怪物》那样，出乎人意料，又感人，又没有让带着“这也许是一款RPG”期待的玩家失望的作品，估计也难做出来了吧？ Odencat是我最喜欢的公司，我相信他们不会止步于此。
今三部屋めの途中です。ストーリーをメインに楽しみたい人には、簡単めな難易度も選べるようになっていて助かりました。 置いてある小物などをネズミの視点で眺めてみると、なんだか新鮮で楽しいです。結末がどうなるのか楽しみです。
