Ordun çok kalabalık olursa, yanında fazla esir veya gereksiz eşya taşırsan harita hızın düşer ve seni kolayca yakalarlar. Bunun yerine asker sayını makul tut, mümkünse atlı yoldaşlar kullan ve Path-finding (Yol Bulma) becerisini geliştir. Hızın yüksek olduğunda ister kaçabilir ister uygun zamanda savaşı sen başlatabilirsin. Doğru askerlerle savaş ve iyi bir düzen kur. Bozkır haydutları tamamen atlı oldukları için acemi köylü askerleriyle savaşmak büyük kayıplara neden olur. Ağır zırhlı piyadeler ve güçlü okçular kullanmak çok daha etkilidir.
