this game is terrible and so are the devs, theyve been updating it for quest for ages and it looks amazing on that, but on pc its HORRIBLE and they wont update even tho they can
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/ZIAiRDqoOYM I had really low expectations when I bought this game. It looked like another low-effort SideQuest Quest port brought over to the Steam store. While this game is far from perfect, it's actually a lot of fun to play. So the visuals are a low-polygon, low texture, low resolution, blurry mess. The sounds are pretty bad too. The music is annoying. You get stuck on the terrain far too often. Yet despite all those issues I encountered in my 2 hours of gameplay, I was having fun because the core gameplay is exhilarating. There's 7 different worlds, with 3 levels in each world. You control the bike with your motion controllers pulling / pushing left or right on the handlebar. You press right trigger to throttle and left trigger to brake. You can push up or down on the joystick while jumping off ramps or landing. You can get upgrades to your bikes with coins you collect along the way. You have to get at least 2 stars and do the course in time to be successful. There's lots of ramps to catch air off of, tricky narrow passageways to navigate, & even walls you can sort of climb with your momentum. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps. Other than getting stuck in the terrain, the only other issue I noticed is that the game seemed to slow down a beat (music would slow down too), but I simply quit and restarted and that fixed my issue. Overall, this game is a blast. I only paid $8 and I think I have already gotten my money's worth. As long as you keep your expectations low, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how fun this simple motorcycle racer is in VR. I'm actually surprised nobody has made this game, but with better graphics, sounds, physics, courses, MP, etc. Rate 7/10.
If you enjoyed my review, please consider joining my Steam Curator Group.
