MotorCubs RC

This is literally the Motorstorm sequel we needed 10 years ago! I'm digging the RC scale and the teddy bears that roll around after vehicles explode. Speaking of which the vehicles are so cool! The grizzly logger is my favorite, aka the van with what looks like freeway guardrails on it?? Give me more of that haha. Amazing graphics, really good level variety and the music is BUMPIN, it's like i'm back in the 2000s. Driving is fast and fun but could use some mud sections. I checked the Kickstarter and they said it's planned so fingers crossed. Looking forward to the final game! Edit: The mud deform is a nice touch on level 4, I hope the team can keep pushing that feature into more levels. It looks like the smaller cars avoid mud! Really cool. The new 7th level Charles Run is MASSIVE. The scale was more in line with what I expected. It might help to make some of the earlier levels bigger? Keep it up.

If you are a fan of MotorStorm you will enjoy this game. I originally encountered some of the issues the other reviewer experienced however the developer has since put out many updates and the gameplay is much smoother and more fun! The game also runs much faster now. I've been playing it some more today and it's a blast. I look forward to seeing what is next for MotorCubs. It would be cool to see a more open track with multiple routes similar to MotorStorm, also the ability to pick between different camera angles while racing.

Alright, so I just spent some quality time with MotorCubs RC, and let me tell ya, it's a blast! Picture this: you're in control of these rad remote-control cars, tearing up some seriously cool off-road tracks. Now, what I dig about this game is the variety. You've got all sorts of race types to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for a speedy sprint or a tricky obstacle course, they've got you covered. Okay, let's talk cars. They've got a bunch to choose from, and they're all decked out. I mean, these babies look slick. Plus, the attention to detail is on point. Oh, and here's a pro tip: grab a controller. It seriously elevates the whole experience. The support for it is top-notch. All in all, MotorCubs RC is a rad time. If you're into remote-control car racing, this game is a must-try. It's got the thrills, the variety, and that sweet, sweet off-road action. Get in on it!!!!

I've only been able to play for a short while so far, but I'll definitely be playing more! The physics are awesome and the driving controls are easy. The lighting is really cool, and the rock face looks sooo good.

Uno dei migliori giochi di macchine che io abbia mai provato! Moltissime macchine e mappe, grafica stupenda e tasti semplici. Anche il layout del menu è davvero accattivante. Sono presenti diverse modalità di gioco ma soprattutto la possibilità di giocare in due con joypad o tastiera! Il fatto che sia in accesso anticipato significa solo che vedremo moltissime novità divertenti e interessanti. Il costo del gioco è perfetto in questi giorni dovrò vincere tutti i veicoli e circuiti. Non vedo l'ora di provare la modalità online per scalare tutte le classifiche.

overall I like it. There is great potential in this game. I am always a sucker for a good RC racing game. There are some performance issues, but a number of them seem to have been resolved since a few updates ago with some more I am sure will get addressed as they get discovered. The handling has improved a bit, before the handling was horrible but a update or 2 ago it improved a good deal depending on the type of rc car you used. The visual design is interesting, with proper scale overall I like, though depending on where you are on a track there can be some goofy collision issues with the terrain given the scale of the cars with relation to the terrain it is passing over. but this is very minor to be honest and can be adjusted based on feedback. Tracks have good personality and design as well, whoever designed it did a pretty solid job on them having tracks have their own design theme and shape language. Granted, The UI needs to be improved upon as its a bit overly generic(this is more nitpicking as a former graphic designer lol) . but again minor issue, this something that can be addressed over time. I do like the bear theme too which is nice as it adds a bit of comical spice to the whole theme. I hope they expand on it a bit more. Overall for an Early access game, Yes... it needs work, but bare in mind they are a small indie dev team, but overall it has the meat and bones in place, the rest will come in time as they fulfill feature sets, new cars, new tracks, performance optimizations etc. Give it a whirl, for $18 its a pretty decent deal given the level of quality this game is exhibiting. We need to support indie devs more given how the AAA landscape is going.
