An absolute delight of an indie fighting game! A simple 3 button fighter, which excels at giving the core joy of fighting games, condensed to a simple style which is easy to pick up and play for so many people! This has been a go to for me, when introducing friends who aren't all to familiar with fighting games, but do want to get in! With a sizeable roster who are all vibrant in their style, both in aesthetic and in gameplay, it really allows you to get into the flow and find a character who ticks all the boxes for you, and again with the three button control scheme it makes it easy to transfer skills across them (and other fighting game fundamentals!) A true gem of an indie fighting game, and with passionate devs who are going above and beyond to continue supporting this project, it really is a gift which keeps on giving! A high recommendation for me, whether you're a fighting game pro, or just beginning to try things out, this will give you a lot and then some, in both charm and fun :D

Mostroscopy by Oribe Ware Games is a 2D fighting game that draws inspiration from the horror and Luchador films of 1950s Mexican cinema giving it a little something different then we see in the genre. Pros: ✔️ Easy to Pick Up: The simplified command system, makes it accessible to newcomers like myself. ✔️ Great Character Designs: The diverse roster includes masked Luchadores, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, robots. and more! And each one felt unique and well though out from eachother. ✔️ Unique Story Mode for Each Character: The classic arcade mode allows players to face a final boss and discover individual storylines for each fighter. Cons: ❌ Several Paywalled Characters: Some fighters are locked behind additional purchases, which was disappointing fora game still trying to find it's legs ❌ Moves Not Well Explained: The game could benefit from more comprehensive tutorials or move lists to help players fully understand each character's abilities. ❌ Still Feels Incomplete: Certain aspects, such as limited modes or unfinished features, give the impression that the game is still a work in progress. Conclusion: Mostroscopy offers a nostalgic dive into a world where classic horror meets the flamboyant Mexican flair. It's a promising addition to the fighting game genre, and with further development, it could truly shine. Score: 7 out of 10 wrestling masks—a bout worth entering, with potential for a championship title.
An awesome fighting game with lots of characters and moves. There are ultimate moves also that are simple to activate unlike other games so its user friendly. The characters are kind of super hero and beasts/monsters type and with having over 14 playable charters from start and 2 remaining which you have to unlock probably in the future makes it a great game to start playing in couch co-op with friends from start without the trouble to grind to unlock each character one by one. The music and voice lines and sfx are a bit on the down side which can be improved in the future with updates but that's no biggie. You can always turn on some rock music at background and play the game if you want. So far my experience with this game has been good, I liked the quirks and designs of each charters which is not so common so I would recommend this game. Also thank you devs for the game, appreciate it.
Ok This is one of the best fighting games I've ever played: All the music, characters and backgrounds are inspired in the Golden Age of the Mexican Cinema. You can find references to the Kaliman super heroe, The Santo's movies and the Blue Demon's movies. Even to old horror movies from Mexico. The art is based on old mexican comic books like Kaliman or even El Libro Vaquero. If you are looking at for something really interesting, with a lot of techno and surf music, this is the place. Also, if you're like me, not the best one playing fighting games, this is the game for you. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed this videogame.
A visually striking fighting game with unique characters, great music and gameplay reminiscent of Smash Bros, Street Fighter and Tekken. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/Cts5BLQ70BQ There's a solid roster of characters, with a few added via DLC. There's no blood or brutal finishers here, but each fighter has their own attacks (3 basic moves, normal attack, special attack and guard). You will learn the story of each fighter and fight the final boss in the story mode. There's also versus mode for two local players, online mode with random matches, and challenge mode.
Tons of characters. Fun choices for movesets. Great to see new inspirations appear in fighting games.
