A pretty to look at point-and-click puzzler that could have been great if not for a few really unfortunate puzzle choices that frankly ruin the experience, unless you are really proficient at math.
+ Difficulty level for most of the puzzles is just right
+ Puzzle variety is satisfactory overall
+ You can save manually at any time, even mid-level, with several available slots
+ Nice array of achievements, with a few missables that are not too difficult to get
+/- Simple and humorous story
+/- Passable background music and game sounds
- While most of the puzzles are solvable, some of them require math skills that will make the game next to unplayable for the average player
- The hint system, while cute and helpful half the time, is completely useless for quite a few of the puzzles. You'll often find yourself trying to solve a difficult puzzle and the hint will be "do this in order to unlock the puzzle, and then... solve the puzzle"
- Puzzle difficulty varies wildly and is pretty uneven, meaning some puzzles in the latter part of the game can be much easier than previous ones
- One (non-math) puzzle in particular in Chapter 5 [spoiler](the square and the sliding doors)[/spoiler] almost made me quit the game. Had to turn to a guide for that one, because I wasn't prepared to spend endless hours on one particularly repetitive and un-fun puzzle. Maybe it's just me, but @#$% that puzzle
I willed myself to the end because I hate abandoning games halfway plus I'm an achievement hunter, but sadly I can't recommend this to the average puzzle lover. Which is really a shame, because if you take out the weird fixation with math problems, the game was very much enjoyable for the most part.
