Really enjoying this game! The art is great and combined with the music, the game feels really atmospheric. It is quite difficult to begin with but I am getting better as I play. There is a good amount of self discovery in the game, which fits the theme well. The game doesn't hold your hand and makes you earn your progress. There have been a few surprises and I feel like I don't know what is coming next. I can see myself playing through the story mode a few times to see what happens going the different directions.
So far so good. You learn as you go along and it is easy / fun to pick up and play. It is quite hard but an enjoyable challenge and the narrative / atmosphere is good. Jumping back on now...
simple story but lots of replayability with different endings definitely worth trying
A well though out and executed game that respects the player and elicits feelings of adventure and discovery by providing very little information at the start and allowing you to work it out as you progress. This type of mature and intelligent game design is lacking in most modern titles from indie, all the way to AAA. The "choose your own adventure" story line was well written and the varying strategy required to pass each level was fantastic and kept me feeling engaged and rewarded as I worked out how to make it through each night. Overall I thought it was really well developed from start to finish and at the end of the day it was just great fun to play.
Excellent gameplay, challenging and addictive at the same time. The graphic design and sound work really well with the story line and the setting of being in the Australian outback feels very real, also a bit eerie. I like the ability to explore the landscape and make choices that determine the outcome of your actions. Also, the sense of time as the sun goes down and the light changes really adds to the intensity and realism. I highly recommend this game, it will keep you on the edge of your seat.
