I have over 2000+ hours in their other game called Mortal Online. Whilst however two different games, I regret to inform you the community and the devs are the same. Be careful what information you give out on this game. At a few points during my career of playing Mortal Online, the devs were carless with players information. This allowed hackers to gain access to several accounts and now all of this information is online ( Including names, addresses, birthdays, passwords, etc..). The devs of this game and Starvault as a company is careless. They would ban players for even talking about it in their discord. It goes to show what kind of devs they are, that they are willing to stop development on Mortal Online and then go to a new BR game to hop on the hype train. Also: If you are considering downloading this game, be weary that there is no GOOD tutorial in the game. This game is full of good players who have been playing Mortal Online for 5+ years. The skill cap is going to be way to high for new players to actually win or get kills. -Best of luck, Plutus

Game is dead before even leaving the gates. At no point during it's development was this project a good idea. Mortal Online started off as a great game, with a lot of possibilities but over time that has greatly decayed. Mortal is best left in our memories as it was, and this title does it no favors. This game will never have 1,000 players in it at a single time, let alone in a single lobby. 7 players were in my test match, which ended quickly as my character spawned, got stuck, and died all in a river. Let's just pretend this game didn't happen.
I don't really care that this game is in "early access". I was a backer of Mortal Online all the way back in 2008. Even if they had done a spin off of MO for the battle royale craze, it shouldn't look like QUAKE from 1998. I don't know how many people from the original StarVault team are still around- Henrik Nystrom or Matts Perrson- but this game is a 20 year old looking abomination of what they wanted Mortal Online to be. WTF went wrong Star Vault?
This game had the potential to be fantastic. The core gameplay mechanics are very solid. Since it's premature release into early access, it has been completely neglected by the developers with absolutely zero indication that they will ever fix the issues that plague the game. If these problems required serious overhauls of the current content then I would understand a delay, but most of the problems this game has are literally just changing numbers like the count down before the game starts, or changing the damage/armor values of the overpowered relic items (care package gear is op). It really breaks my heart to see the devs not support their game in the slightest, as I had an absolute ton of fun with it in the few short weeks that it actually had a small population after release. I am a veteran player of Mortal Online with 9 years on the game, and was an alpha tester for Mortal Royale for those interested. I spent hours creating an in depth guide for new players, explaining how to get around all the problems people were having with the game. The devs didn't even bother to pin it. Obviously the game is 100% dead at this point, so don't even bother. The devs are currently trying to remake Mortal Online in Unreal Engine 4, with updated graphics and supposedly a more fluid combat system. The graphical changes may be good (unless their previous graphical "updates" are anything to go by). However, the combat was almost the only thing in Mortal Online that was actually really solid, so if they change that too much there will truly be no hope left. I used to defend starvault and give them the benefit of the doubt, but over the years they have simply demonstrated far too much ineptitude and incompetence to be trusted with getting anything right. Wasted potential/10
Honestly. even for an early access game its bad, should not have been released untill alot more work was done on the game. gameplay is crud, graphics are lame, laggy as all hell. i will not be playing this game untill its up to an average standard at this moment its no where near it, pull it off the early access store please for your own sake, oh and i also got some viruses from the game too. really guys i have uninstalled game and will not be installing anytime soon by the looks of it. 0/10 and thats being nice
(Early Access)
The game is really clunky right now, feels very Alpha level with lots of optimization issues and glitches. There is some fun here but it's very small at the moment, I imagine some updates will help this out quite a lot. It's kind of fun for a bit right now but if you find yourself in battle against a Mortal Online player they will absolutely destroy you because they know how the fighting system works and it's not so easy to figure out. The magic and horse riding are buggy and hard to use well so it's mainly melee fighting at the moment. I hope this game gets the updates it needs, it seems like it could be pretty neat down the road. Also it says up to 1000 players but you probably won't get anywhere close to that so it's maybe something to look forward to down the road if this gets the updates that it very much needs. Will update this post as more updates come to the game. I currently do not recommend mostly because of the large install and it not being where it needs to be just yet. Someday though, hopefully.
This game is a hidden gem. A concentration of pure laughter, evil pleasure and sadistic enjoyement. From the very first thing you see on screen to the main gameplay, this game will blow your mind. Truly an amazing game. #MakeMortalRoyaleGreatAgain
so i chopped up 4 people, got geared. saw a horse tamed it and jumped on... couldnt get off so i just ran circles around the last guy until the circle was to small so i just headed out to die alone lol, and this was after 20min to get into a game with 6 people. no gg.
