MorphVOX Pro 5 - Voice Changer

I give this a 3/10 stars. Honestly, the old software works better then this. This doesn't support VR and it sounds terrible even when compared to the old version. I can't really recommend this in it's current state. Maybe with some more added features that aren't DLC then maybe I'll change my review and recommendation, till then this is a fat NOPE. Update: I would also like to add there are no update notes, so when it updates we have no clue what got updated. To the devs of this product. Please make this VR Compatible, and also please give us some patch notes or a road map so we know what got updated. We spent the money on this, so make it worth the price. And don't make VR compatibility a DLC that we have to pay extra for. I'll never recommend this to anyone if that's the case.

Not very good, sounds bad, doesnt work well. Expected far better but its just a reskin of the old software.

I am not sure why so many people appear to be having issues with this. I followed the instructions and it was very simple to get working. I haven't had any problems with it so far. Make sure you set it to Screamingbee both once you start it up in the voice changer's options and in the game sound options. I bought it for Star Wars voices and it does the job. Good for SW helmet voices. That being said it might not be for everyone. Depending on gender and what voice you use. Everyone's voice is different so you need to adjust it to yours... and you have to meet it half way. Need to give a little effort with your voice when it goes into the changer. Of course you will be able to tell it is a voice changer though for what I am using it for that works in my favor. Hopefully this review helps people out a little.

Its not that bad but its also way too expensive for what you get. if you want more voices you have to buy them separately as if $40 was not enough. Its really not worth it not for this price at least. What i do like is the noise suppression you can use with this app. It works well at blocking background noise similar to RTX voice or the built in cancellation on Asus boards but they require you to install Armoury crate which i do not want to do as it uses too many resources. Having to launch steam to open the app sucks, because i would use it just for its background noise suppression. Also it would be cool if you could bind the sound effects.

Horrible interface and terrible voices none seem or simulate with a real voice and looks like the old version with practically zero changes.

MorphVOX is best for NOISE CANCELLATION. I've tried countless software out there and I can say Morphvox eliminates noise better than the others. I don't use their voice changer since most are crap but if you're looking for a software to tweak your voice a bit (amplify, echo, pitch) and makes it cleaner then sure, this is pretty good. The only issue I have is when I use it for real-time comms (discord, in game, steam voice call) I got frequent crackling noise. At the end I only use this for recording purpose.

The $40 version includes access to just five voices, with everything else locked behind additional DLC purchases, which feels excessive. Given the price tag, one would expect a more comprehensive selection of voices included upfront. Disappointed with the limited offering, I opted for a refund after only 30 minutes of use.

It's a pretty decent Voice Changer. I don't understand all the hate. It works as it should for me, and the voices sound great. The only problems I have with it is the fact that I need the old version to buy more voices and the fact it cost me over £30. A ridiculous price for a small software like this, but whatever.
