it's a fun game with a super high skill ceiling. it's difficult but it's really fun if you put the time into it. that being said the community is horrible. expect slurs to be dropped in chat. occasionally you'll come across someone cool but it's clear most of the community doesn't know what fresh air smells like. also i don't think the devs have really done anything with the game in a hot minute. i'd recommend you get it on sale. i think especially the ranked 1v1s can be really fun and help you get better at the game. for some of the reasons mentioned above though I don't really know if I can recommend the game. sure if nice people get the game the community would be nicer but it'll get stale cause the game doesn't get anything new :p

No new content in 2 years. Poor playerbase full of either toxic losers or the most tryhard veteran players. Not new player or casual friendly for that matter.
The game and its combat is super fun and engaging, but the skill gap is crazy it might be a skill issue but your going to constantly get targeted by people who are good at the game and you cant do anything about it

game full of cheaters, the devs mute you if you bring it up while playing. Also how is such an ugly game with nothing going on 37 gigs? That's insane.
This game is trash. The pvp is not fun. Enemy player hitboxes are broken and I can't seem to hit people with my weapons most of the time. I'm too new to be able to identify if that is cheating or just a broken mechanic of the game. I'm not willing to play this game enough to find out because, again, the game isn't fun. The pve coop modes are also not fun. When enemies are all capable of staggering you with ALL of their attacks and the game throws way more enemies at you than you can possibly manage, you just spend combat permanently staggered and getting gang-banged by the npcs. Even in pve the hitboxes are janky. TLDR: Screw this game and its devs. I got this game for $6 while it was on sale and I feel like I still paid too much for it.
