Don't buy this game it has no players, there is no offline feature. The developers have acknowledged that the game is no longer being developed. Nothing more to say.

Being by a developer I actually respect, it leaves an even more sour taste in my mouth jumping into this dead PvP melee combat game. I was fortunate enough, to witness two players, or perhaps even ghosts, playing a match which was almost finished. Neither player continued playing, I'm fairly certain, as I sat patiently trying to match. Instead, I eventually played/read through the tutorial. I was confused by the level of charm and effort on display, and how quickly it disappeared, opting instead for a poorly drawn, almost ms-paint style tutorial to read from. The swordplay felt fun, but unfortunately I had no one to play against aside from a single tutorial bot. It really does feel like a sick joke, for this game to be abandoned, in this state, on the date of April first, and yet, it's the reality Frozenbyte left Boreal Blade in.

Boreal Blade is a melee-centered multiplayer title that will likely divide players. Some will appreciate the depth of its freeform combat and the thrill of precise swordplay, while others may find the steep learning curve discouraging, even with the most basic weapons. Unfortunately, both groups will run into the frustrating connectivity and matchmaking problems that affect too many matches.

There's interesting things about this game with a potentially deep combat system. It's just too bad there's 0 players and no campaign or story mode so you can't test the swordplay (or any part of the game, for that matter) out. The devs are really irresponsible for calling this a finished product instead of building out a campaign and charging a normal price tag. As is, the game is worth a price tag of ZERO because there's nothing to do.

Games fun with freinds ONLY but there is a alot of weapons tho most are simliar but its still tuff
