Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Moorhuhn Remake is a modern revival of one of Europe’s most recognizable casual arcade shooters, bringing the instantly familiar chicken-hunting formula back to contemporary PC audiences. Developed by Higgs Games GmbH in collaboration with GeekPit Studio and published by Higgs Games GmbH, the remake embraces the spirit of the original Moorhuhn titles rather than attempting to reinvent them. Its goal is clear from the outset: preserve the fast, humorous, score-chasing gameplay that made the series a phenomenon, while polishing the presentation and adding modern features that fit today’s platforms. At the heart of the experience is the same tightly focused gameplay loop that defined the classic. Each round gives you a limited amount of time to shoot as many chickens as possible, rewarding quick reactions, precise aim, and the ability to prioritize difficult targets. Chickens pop up at varying distances and angles across the playfield, and the scoring system subtly encourages risk-taking by offering higher rewards for harder shots. The simplicity of the objective makes the game immediately approachable, yet the pursuit of better scores quickly reveals a surprisingly competitive edge. The remake’s visual style leans into colorful, cartoonish charm rather than realism, staying true to the franchise’s playful identity. Characters, backgrounds, and animations are clean and vibrant, evoking nostalgia while benefiting from sharper resolution and smoother performance on modern systems. Rather than radically reworking environments, the game focuses on clarity and readability, ensuring that targets stand out clearly and that the action remains easy to follow even at high speed. This conservative approach may feel familiar to longtime fans, but it reinforces the sense that this is a respectful update rather than a complete overhaul. Controls are intentionally minimal, emphasizing accessibility above all else. Aiming and shooting feel immediate and responsive, with no complex mechanics or layered systems to learn. This design choice allows anyone to jump in for a quick session without preparation, making the game well suited for short play bursts. At the same time, mastering timing, accuracy, and target prioritization becomes increasingly engaging for players who chase higher scores, revealing depth through repetition rather than mechanical complexity. One of the most meaningful modern additions is the integration of online leaderboards. By allowing players to compare scores globally, the game transforms what could be a purely nostalgic diversion into an ongoing competitive challenge. This feature adds motivation to replay rounds repeatedly, refining technique and experimenting with different approaches to maximize points. The leaderboard focus gives the remake a sense of longevity, even though individual sessions remain brief. That said, the game’s narrow scope is both its strength and its limitation. Outside of score chasing, there is little mechanical variation or progression to uncover. Environments remain largely static, and the core loop does not evolve significantly over time. For some players, this purity will be exactly what they want—a distilled arcade experience free of distractions. Others may find that the lack of new modes, unlockables, or evolving challenges limits long-term engagement once the novelty wears off. From a technical standpoint, the remake is lightweight and stable, running smoothly on a wide range of hardware. User interface elements are clean and unobtrusive, and modern platform features such as cloud saves and Steam integration help the game fit seamlessly into contemporary libraries. These refinements don’t draw attention to themselves, but they contribute to a frictionless experience that respects the player’s time. Ultimately, Moorhuhn Remake succeeds by understanding exactly what it is meant to be. It doesn’t attempt to modernize the franchise through complex systems or dramatic reinvention; instead, it sharpens and preserves the original’s core appeal. For longtime fans, it offers a nostalgic return that feels comfortable and familiar. For new players, it serves as a concise introduction to a classic arcade-style shooter built around reflexes, humor, and high-score competition. Its charm lies in its restraint, delivering a straightforward, replayable experience that celebrates the enduring appeal of simple, well-executed design. Rating: 7/10

This game, is beautiful. it is truly a game worth remembering. Every second I spent playing this game, I felt absolute euphoria. Moorhuhn has become a series I truly love dearly just because of the 0.1 hours I have on this game, and I would trade my entire life, and all of my earthly possessions, if I could get Higgs Games here and personally shake their hand. When I say this is the perfect game, I don't mean it as a joke or as a bit, this is truly one of the best if not THE best game I have played. The Chickens, The Plane, The secret Easter eggs hidden around the map, and of course, The Secret Pomni hidden in the files that adds just the cherry on top to this perfect experience. Another thing, the Ambience in this game is unmatched. The fall trees and the scarecrow add the perfect cozy feeling, and those chickens make me feel more comfortable than any of my friends, family, or pets could ever make me feel. The design of those chickens perfectly balances the urge to shoot them, and the urge to keep them as a pet, to make you feel happy when seeing them, but enjoy shooting them as well. it is a perfect design. On this topic, the renders present in this experience add to the vibe. they give that CozyCore 2000sCore FallCore CollageCore vibe. The implied lore in this game is another key point. The castle in the back clearly shows this takes place in an old field, but still present day judging by the gun you use to shoot the chickens. this is also likely a little bit after planes were invented, judging by the Higgs Games plane, and this clearly takes place in Fall, from the fact that there are autumn trees. I know this review is getting off topic so I'll end it off with this; Moorhuhn Remake is one of the best games I've played in my career as a professional game reviewer, and it's honestly a shame this game only has a small number of reviews. I believe if this series were to go mainstream, It would be one of the biggest series in the U.S.. Higgs Games, If you are reading this review, Don't give up on Moorhuhn. Keep pursuing your dreams, and I promise you, Moorhuhn 3D World will be headlining IGN's Top 100 Games of all Time.
