Wunderschönes Spiel!

This is hands down the best cozy game ive played in years. Nothing has made me feel this excited since animal crossing and I've been loving playing on stream with my pookies <3 Def worth every single penny tysm for making a great game!

Love this game! I have married 'Death', but there is only 1 date option... which is a bit boring after you've done it once... can you please get some variety?

This game is so cute, it runs so well and the story is nice!

I've played up to the second spring and have more than a few thoughts! Generally, I think that this is a very good game with room for improvement. I loved the art-- it's gorgeous, especially the environments. I really liked the way they animated the water to look like it's glowing, it looked magical. It also makes decorating fun, and you get a lot of freedom since pretty much everything CAN be used as a decoration. (Would love it I could turn the decorations so that they're on a slant, or if I could place rugs on top of each other, but this is more a nit pick). Animations are also smooth and enjoyable to watch! I particularly like the 'sigh' animation, which conveys a lot. The characters are fun and more in depth than the initial one line a day suggests, with flaws and sharp edges as well as endearing personality quirks. It's a bit of work to figure out what kind of gifts they like. Some genuinely feel like trial and error while others straight up tell you what they like. Farming is fun-- love so much that some crops can be grown through multiple seasons. The museum is also great, I think the exhibit rooms are unique and it's been a joy filling them out and seeing where the donation will settle. As for the improvements... The festivals do need some work. They feel kind of boring for the most part, with the Halloween event being the most egregious for me. Though the prizes are fun the mini games are TEDIOUS and you have to play them over and over again for some desired items. Quests are interesting, but they can trickle in slowly. If you're feeling like the days are too long, I would recommend changing the days from 15 minutes to 10. This helped stave off any feelings of wandering around with nothing to do. Plus, since you can change freely back and forth, I would recommend doing that to suit your needs. I've done this when racing home and trying to beat the sun, or at the beginning of seasons when I need to farm a bunch. Finally, there do seem to be some glitches and poorly explained features that need some addressing (but the devs are on top of)! For instance, when I got an upgraded fishing pole, the larger fishes all but disappeared. Certain trees only grow under a stipulation that wasn't made clear and that I had to learn about on reddit. Not to mention the farm animals thrive better when paired with other farm animals. All in all, Moonlight Peaks has a lot to show for a game that was just released and I for one am excited to see where it goes!

A spooky cute farming sim. I adore the characters and the style. the controls are pretty smooth and works perfectly on my Steam deck! I cant seem to put it down and I do love the amount of time per in game day. I am quite satisfied with the interactions, story just happens without me having to go out of my way.
