I'm on area 4, nearly half way through the game. Is this the deepest, most complex groundbreaking game ever? No, however, it is fun. If you have played a previous title from the developer, Ammo Pigs, you can see how this game is an evolution of that. Ammo Pigs is a fun game, but a deeply flawed game mostly due to it's buggy nature. I can happily report that absent from this game. This game is a solid platformer with some mega man and metroid elements thrown in for good measure. I personally love the art direction and the music. As long as you are not looking for innovation, if you want a solid retro like title complete with difficulty and the occasional cheap death, then this one is an easy recommend.

Haven't finished it yet (don't think I'm even 15% through) but it's a really nice Mega Man-styled platformer with some Metroid thrown in the middle. Seems like it would be a really good game for speedrunners with the dash mechanic, and the difficulty is perfectly balanced imo. Has some rough edges here and there but nothing to subtract from the overall experience.
Charming pixel art. Love the visual style. For some reason, playing the game, it was reporting 60fps, but it just felt off. I've seen the trailers and they look OK but in game it just didn't feel fluid enough for 60. This barely distracted from the game, just felt worth noting. The game itself is a relatively simple platformer, I'd say it's more aimed at a younger audience as I found myself quickly bored and I usually love Platformers. It wasn't bad, just a bit meh for my tastes. It felt like it could be a pretty cool metroidvania but I think it just missed the mark in a few areas, combat for example was just an inconvenience and didn't feel fun. A bit much at it's current price if buying for an adult, however, if I were buying this for say a younger gamer around 5-10 years, I think they would have a blast and any parent's quiet time is worth less than £10.
Moon Raider is a short but enjoyable game that never really drags. I was able to do everything in a little over 4 hours. I was surprised to find that there is only one unlockable ability that you pick up right at the beginning of the game. I was hoping there would be more but it gets the job done. Graphically the game looks great, music is solid but gets repetitive after a while, and minus a few minor glitches the game handles great. If this is your style of game jump in - just know that its pretty basic and there really isn't much to do from an unlockable standpoint (easy to find bonus rooms and health/gem/damage boosts). The difficulty is pretty low as well but I will say that the boss battles are pretty good. I would like to a boss rush mode added down the line.
The art is nice in the game, the levels are well designed and the boss fights are simple but fun. I have enjoyed playing the game, looking for the secrets and learning new tricks to complete the game!
I like the game so far. Mix of freedom planet and megaman. Just to let you know, I found a bug. I walked through a wall and got stuck in same wall when leaving and entering bonus room 2. Wall was entered through door pathway to bonus room 2, then went above and to the right through wall above everything else. I'll delete the bug report when you read this. Also, you could shoot while jumping, but can't shoot when in double jump. Little tweak here and there, and you have a very good game. P.S. I've seen your other games on your website www.cascadiagames.com , and you have some other good games you should consider porting to steam/switch/etc.
Extremamente divertido e bem feito. Bela pixel art e boa jogabilidade. Recomendado.
