A fun twist on the usual card game formula. Instead of fighting monsters, it feels like you’re managing them in your tavern, making it more about handling chaos instead of any classic card game loops out there. It’s easy to pick up, but there’s enough depth in how you manage and strategize your play The vibe is cozy and a bit chaotic at the same time, with original music, very cool art, quirky characters, and lots of little moments where things can go very wrong very quickly. Overall, it’s a refreshing, low-pressure card game that’s great if you want something a bit different from the usual deckbuilders. What we need to know is why Joe Biden tried to stop this game from comming out? We may never find out...

Monster Tavern does something unique and takes a PvE (from the jump) approach for a genre that's mostly PvP. It's aesthetic and theme around alcohol and bar life is a fun one with many goofy, cute and cool creatures and monsters that seems so broad and fun that the ideas are endless. The game isn't easy which depending on your perspective could be a good and bad thing. For me I am in the middle, the game isn't a cinch. It definitely demands to be learned once you hit the end of week 1 or into week 2 your bound to be smacked by a boss or new enemy. In closing so much potential yet to be explored and what's here is very deep and can only get deeper.
