About

Our main character (you name him) has been a screw-up his entire life. That's what led him to his life of crime. His screw-ups now have higher stakes, and that's where the demon Ambrosilas comes in. Can this sexy murder genie get him out of his latest life or death blunder?
Ambrosilas has one mission: kill bad people to make the world a better place. He's not about to be the puppet of a worthless criminal!
The rules are set in stone: Give him someone worthy of death to kill or he kills the one who summoned him. But what does our main character do when his target isn't worthy of death? He really didn't think this through...as per usual.
He needs Ambrosila's help if he wants to stay alive, but the demon isn't going out of his way for a criminal.
"But you said I was at least nice to look at?"

It's true, his criminal master is a handsome mortal, and the more he gets to know him the more he realizes he might not be so worthless after all. Perhaps he can help him...for a price.
Our main character is surprised at how attracted he is to Ambrosilas. He's got no one else to turn to...and he doesn't mind when he's pulled into the demon's arms.

PD for booting it up:
Sometimes on Steam, the program itself does not execute (even after waiting a while). You have to force it up executing the .exe (or .sh if you are playing in your Steam Deck) directly from the installation folder. Negative point is, your playtime is not reflected while playing, along with the achievements you may get. Hence the main reason of my very low playtime.

MC: A yakuza #with a name of your choice, can be easily named C*mOnMeB*itch* if it's your ultimate wish, got easily scammed while doing a mundane yakuza job #rookie mistake. Just for that, the uncle suggested going to the family's warehouse to summon a Daemon of Vengeance, Ambrosillas, to clean the mess up... or just to kill the baddies #anyone just noticed how shady that belovy uncly is now, or just in me? After a polite argument #between a yakuza and a daemon, what a unexpected ocassion, a bonding can be easily sewn between them. If it's a truly demonic love, a tortorous hellish one, or whatever your relationship ideal is, it's up to you, as always. [olist]
PROS:
[*] Steamy scenes and models: 2 sex scenes #or 4 sub-sex scenes, see what I did there? and 2 kissing scenes, because kissing is as important as being drilled and whipped by your favourite plush deamon, kids. [*] Interesting plot and design: How is it to caress the snakes of a deamon #writing this literally, sadly? Will you sacrifice yourself, or you will be filled with vengeance of those who wronged you who, by the way, I don't know their faces, so I can't forgive them by being hot, I guess. [/olist] [olist]
CONS:
[*] Lack of Visual Novel conten: Only MC and the daemon is only drawn and rendered into the game #as expected, they are self-absorbed into their little lamp, a chamber of wishes. But lack of voice-acting just a moaning voice, and its lack of CGs... can easily defeating the sole purpose of creating a Visual Novel in the first place. [*] How criminal is the most naive yakuza?: First half of the game (when they first met) was mostly about discussing ethics of what human ethics are, and how can be easily subjective #a hot topic for a first date, if you ask me, but also, to have it written a second time, just to perceive it as the daemon's POV... #sorry to confess, father, but I skipped a bit in this part. [/olist]

So, what do you think?
A still in-progress 1-2h long Visual Novel with an interesting potential concept, steamy scenes, but still lacking of what a truly VN is: a play, a cast of characters, a variety of sceneries, visible villains... If there is a "only buy when it's patched up or it's heavily discounted off" button #instead of the boring like or dislike ones, I will slap this down. # 4/10
🎮 Gameplay & Genre Monster Lover 2: Ambrosilas is a short visual novel dating sim built around a single M/M route with multiple endings. Dialogue choices guide the story, and all five endings can be reached in a relatively short amount of time. I was able to complete all routes in about three hours, roughly double the length of the first game. The structure is still simple, but it feels more substantial here. The different routes are distinct enough to justify replaying, and the overall experience lands more like a compact but complete VN rather than something overly slight. 🔥 M/M Content This is an explicit MLM monster romance featuring a human MC and the demon Ambrosilas. The dynamic leans into a softer form of dominance. Ambrosilas holds the power in the relationship, but he is not cruel. If anything, he falls hard for the MC in every route and consistently works to protect him, even within the constraints of his role. The MC is a somewhat clueless young man caught up in the Yakuza, which creates a nice contrast with Ambrosilas’s intensity and certainty. Ambrosilas very much reads as a kind, monstrous muscle daddy archetype. He is powerful, dangerous, and clearly in control, but his affection is genuine and unwavering, which makes the relationship feel safe and emotionally grounded rather than threatening. Physically, Ambrosilas strikes a much better balance than the first game’s monster. He is still clearly non-human, but he also seems designed to be more attractive than Balasque in Monster Lover 1, which makes the romantic and erotic elements land more effectively. As with the first installment, the number of CGs is limited, but the content itself is clearly explicit and includes BDSM elements. The game does not shy away from its sexual framing, and the power dynamic between Ambrosilas and the MC is central to both the intimacy and the narrative tension. The emotional throughline carries that dynamic well, and importantly, every route allows the characters to end up together in love. That balance gives the experience a much stronger sense of payoff. 🎨 Visuals & Style The semi-realistic art style returns, and overall it feels improved. Ambrosilas’s design is more appealing while still maintaining a distinct monstrous edge, and the CGs, while still limited in number, are better rendered than in the first game. The same issue with reuse is still present, but it is less distracting here thanks to stronger character design and a more engaging narrative context. 🗣️ Tone & Writing The writing is a clear step up from the first installment. The story is more engaging, the character dynamics are more compelling, and the emotional beats have more room to land. Ambrosilas, in particular, carries the narrative. His growing attachment to the MC feels consistent across routes, and the variations in how that relationship develops give each ending a sense of purpose. I found myself genuinely wanting things to work out for them, which was not something I felt as strongly in the first game. 👍 Best Thing Ambrosilas himself. His design, personality, and unwavering attachment to the MC elevate the entire experience. The game fully commits to its M/M fantasy, with no hedging from the MC and a romantic payoff in every route. 👎 Worst Thing The limited number of CGs and continued reuse of visuals still hold the game back from feeling fully realized. ⭐ Final Verdict A clear improvement over the Monster Lover 1. Stronger writing, a more appealing monster lead, and more satisfying routes make this feel like a much more complete experience. It is still a smaller-scale VN, but this time the emotional payoff and character work are strong enough to carry it. I found myself genuinely wanting more time with these characters by the end, which is easily the biggest improvement over the first game. If this is the direction the series is heading, it is absolutely worth continuing. Very nice. I liked the overall story, although the main character's personality irked me almost as much it did his demon lover, lol. I would have preferred a few more pieces of art to go with the sex scenes, but I do understand they take a lot of time and effort to create. It was also a bit short, but for the price, I would be happy to purchase again.

Short, Compelling and Sexy! Monster Lover 2 follows a Young Yakuza who has been double crossed and must console the help of a Murder Genie in order for his life to be spared. The core of this game is the budding relationship between the Yakuza member and the murder Genie (Ambrosilas). There is a bit of a WHODUNIT story going on but you mainly sit on the sidelines as the investigation unfolds. The artwork is very sexy and although there are only a handful of CGs, they are beautifully rendered. For 7.99, you're getting around 2.5-3hrs of a visual novel and I think that's worth the price!
I played one and was laughing so much! I think I snickered a few times in 2, it was definitely shorter than the first one too. Like the way the MC looked though.
