Monster Girl Therapy

To be honest, I didn't like either the characters or the minigames.

Monster Girl Therapy is a pleasantly unusual little indie gem. The idea of not fighting monster girls but instead trying to understand their problems and help them works surprisingly well and leads to many charming conversations. The pixel art has a nice nostalgic style, and the mix of dialogue, small puzzles, and minigames keeps things varied. What stood out most to me were the characters—they feel distinct and have more personality than you might expect at first. If you enjoy narrative-driven indie games, visual-novel elements, and a bit of quirky humor, this is definitely worth checking out. For just a few dollars, you get a lovingly crafted little story with a lot of heart.

A short but surprisingly deep game about monster girls and what it means to love them. Highly recommended for any monster girl lover. The minigames are neat and each monster girl has great personality, plus a lot of the writing and dialogue is both fun and serious.

7/10. It was very simple, and the stock RPGMaker graphics were pretty obvious. The monster girls themselves were well designed, and the puzzles were adequate, none of them were brain-bending but they broke up the VN-style conversations. Decent humor and some introspection on facets of ourselves that are pretty well defined in each character, without any caricatures or outright silly characterizations. A fine, short experience, fits the price tag.

Każda z dziewczyn ma ciekawą, oryginalną osobowość i równie ciekawe, trochę zabawne dialogi, czasami z odrobiną sprośności. [b]Aczkolwiek gra nie zawiera treści dla dorosłych.[/b] Aby uratować każdą z dziewczyn musimy przejść oryginalne mini-gierki, a na zakończenie trzeba zdać quiz sprawdzający czy słuchaliśmy uważnie tychże potworzyc - czy znamy ich historię, rolę, upodobania, usposobienie itp. [b]Myślę, że gra jest w zupełności warta pełnej ceny![/b]

I bought it on release date and played a bit - and I love it! So far: + very funny dialogues, especially if you have played old MMOs before + interesting puzzles + MONSTER GIRLS! + No grinding + No pay-to-win + Free cosmetics - Buggy female main character - No season pass If you want to have a funny game, don't hesitate!

i thoroughly enjoyed this little game. the characters are all well-written and, while some are better than others, the game does a great job at making them unique and likeable. the puzzles are surprisingly entertaining despite how simple they were. great music too. s'sinbal best girl

The premise is that you’ve entered a fantasy video game that is dying because its servers are about to be shut down. Your goal isn’t to enjoy what it has to offer one last time, especially since glitches are already appearing and most of the content is inaccessible. Instead, you are trying to save some of the female characters who inhabit the world. While the look and feel closely resemble RPGs from their golden era, this is only superficial. There is no real role-playing involved beyond choosing which avatar you want to walk around in. This choice can be changed at a save spot on the main map, but although the selection is decent, avatars have no unique perks or gameplay features. The main map is small, allowing you to visit a few locations or save your progress. There are also a handful of hidden interaction points, but aside from some amusing dialogue, they offer little of substance. Your objectives are the five main locations, marked by visible structures, and you are free to tackle them in any order. These locations are completely devoid of characters, as if everyone suddenly disappeared. The only exception is a colored node that you can interact with. These nodes represent the girls you are trying to save, and you can speak with them by selecting different topics. Some conversations include response choices, though these mainly serve to flesh out the characters’ personalities, such as their desires or purpose. Each location consists of only a few screens and features a single girl, none of whom are willing to leave until you complete their challenge. For example, the temple girl asks you to solve a maze within a limited number of steps, the horse girl challenges you to reach the finish line before time runs out, and the cat girl presents a memory game. Each puzzle has two or three stages, all of which must be completed to save the character. If you’re aiming to unlock all achievements, you will need to perform well in the puzzles and choose the correct responses. You only get one opportunity per character, as each girl disappears from the location once saved. Fortunately, this is not too punishing, since you can use multiple save slots or reload if you miss something. As an added touch, saved characters may trigger new conversation events in previously visited locations. The final girl becomes available after you rescue the first five. Her challenge is slightly different, consisting of a quiz about the other characters. However, the game itself is fairly short, and you can even skip conversations with the girls to make it even quicker. In short, it’s more like a visual novel tied together with mini-games.
