I have included some wretched choices in the game. I am trusting the player to pick none of them.

Money for Girls is a wonderfully horrid story for girls, girl-things, and all the meat in between. A combination of gripping and relatable characters, beautifully chilling art, and the perfect soundtrack to lose yourself in this story of mystery, romance, and of course money. This game is definitely not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but if you enjoy a queer story that'll make you feel disgusting, disgusted, seen, intrigued, and craving for more, this is it. Cancer Prize, our girl detective, is the sopping wet rat of a girl-failure that we puppet through this world of sugar and secrets. Navigating her through investigations, feelings of inadequacy, earning enough money to save her mom, and enough pining to burn a hole through the sun. Her life, problems and thoughts make her an extremely relatable character for some, and a peek into the internal monologue of inadequacies and self doubt that some others haven't had before. She really is the Prize we won with this little game.
A Good Story Dragged Down by Gameplay Choices
Money for Girls is a heartfelt story in many ways with very sincere writing, and enough grit to make it's emotional punches feel real. I've gone through the game a few times now, and I can only really say that the countdown to the end cheapens it's pacing and narrative in ways that can feel unintended. What you can sometimes end up doing is following threads between the characters that feel as though their relationship suddenly grew deeper during one event, and then feel as though things are back to square one the next. While I very much enjoyed the 'Good' ending of the story you can bounce around between various tasks and still achieve it without much effort which can cheapen the build-up associated with it's emotional payoff. I would almost say the requirements for it need to be near double what they are now just to force you to play through more scenes to make the first time you reach that ending feel more earned, or even just making certain scenes mandatory in general. I think making it harder to get any of the two standard endings would benefit the game if only because splitting your attention between tasks never feels like a real threat. It's almost impossible to get to the final day without having a 2nd option outside of failing to pay the debt. There's a difference between the ethereal nature of it's writing and the disconnect of allowing player agency to terrorize the narrative. The narrative/emotional weight between the individual scenes is not equal. Overall if you're a fan of something like Slay The Princess, or horror visual novels in general check it out. It definitely stands out in a good way.

If you're a girl with something wrong with you, I can't recommend this enough
much like the morgellon this game and these girls are now crawling across every fiber of my being in a matter most violating. i haven't been able to stop thinking about it and what sick lil routes and combinations are possible thank you porpentine i will never be left wanting for weird girl detective fiction ever again
Punches you in the face, tit and emotions in all the best ways. Legitimately an experience that is sort of like some things but mostly its own unique chaotically beautiful goblin. 10/10 she can make me worse.
диско элизиум для женщин извращенок
An incredible experience. A true piece of freak literature made by gross perverts, and I cannot recommend it enough. Emotionally moving and wonderful, I think it will stay with me for a long time.
The main menu tells you everything you need to know about this game, the rest of it tells you everything you didn't. I am not a girl, so I bought this game pessimistically, knowing that the Money was not for me. Fortunately, there was an option for people like me, which trans your gender. Unfortunately, that meant this game, and by extension, I, was woke. While contemplating suicide, I hovered over one of the other starter option to discovered that this game calls you slurs, and breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that it was no longer woke. For a brief few hours, I truly was a mentally ill gamer horse girl trans woman with OCD. This is one of the best written visual novels I've played. The prose is poetic without ever losing its fever-dream-like vibe, and beyond that, it's surprisingly intelligent and heartfelt. It gives you the option to make Cancer a horse girl as a joke and manages to turn it into a genuinely emotional plot beat. It portrays the effort it takes for the main character to fall asleep using only the options menu. The protagonist's ♥♥♥♥♥♥-up mental state gives way to a somehow even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, sick world. And the game oozes style to match. Unhygienically. It's slick with it, slimy. Sweaty. Pastel colors become dirty and burn into hot pink when needed. Graphic Design is its passion and its messy, off-kilter UI is really charming. There's also one really, really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good song that no one has uploaded to Youtube yet because this game is so new and unknown.
WORTH EVERY. PENNY.
one of the best visual novels i’ve played in years, hyperglycemic vomit coagulating into traumatized pervert girl catharsis. With sinewy fiber growths pulled from skin sores, Porpentine weaves a wonderfully sickening tapestry of what it means to become inhuman. The useful fiction of personhood is evicted, for another force to take rein over the meat that’s left. The cries of flesh, the systems that sell and consume it, or the otherworldly textile parasites (money and morgellons) that contort the will and the meat. All this with striking eroticism. I feel spoiled. Rotten. Any high asset value horse girl with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up fawn response worth their salt (or sugar cubes) knows that this is a fine investment, the ROI rivaled only by predatory loans. Despite its brief run time, the writing, visuals and music achieve so much. intimately, they grant both graceful warmth and putrid terror. This range and depth is also felt in the characters, making them feel fleshy and incarnate. The soundtrack is a hypnotic pheromonal discharge. The art, with its entracingly violent colors and delicate posings, meets the visceral prose to form the prettiest bicephalic foal in the freak show. However, you need a strong stomach for this ride. It makes you feel awful, but in a way I found to be weirdly freeing, like the relief found after puking. It brings with it an invitation to acknowledge the aberrations of my being and embrace them. thank you girl game for reminding me that i am a weird ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ freak, that i am an animal, and that my humanity in conditional. I anticipate further additions with both dread and excitement. Porpentine has burrowed a parasite deep in my skull. I can't get it out, but I'm starting to like it.
PROS -Calls you the f slur pretty much immediately out of the gate -Fantastic art -Disco Elysium -Cancer is unironically a fantastic name to give your baby -Bong. Ding. Ding ding ding -Starts off scary as hell CONS -Less than 8 hours long -Woke as hell (you are forced to play as a girl)
