This is the dark souls of swinging games. The art is adorable, the gaming is pretty addicting, and difficult. For a dollar it's worth the purchase. P.S. the blocks in your path are adorable, I need a plush of them haha
Hello Kekitopu, if you're reading this, I'm here to deliver on my promise. You've most certainly forgotten about this by now, but some time ago you made a post on a certain website asking for people to review your game, to which I replied saying that I would do so once I beat it. Well I finally did, so here it is (with a minor delay of approximately three years, my apologies for that). Anyhow, I found the game to be quite enjoyable. It's both aesthetically and mechanically competent, which is no small feat considering, if I recall correctly, you mentioned that this was your first game. The levels are decently challenging and quite rewarding to beat, the music suits the game well and never really got tiresome for me despite its brevity (my personal favorite tracks being the start screen and the second row of levels/doughnut land), and the game as a whole manages to be something you can wind down with while at the same time not being mindless. My only complaints are quite minor, one being that the platform on which Mochi stands can sometimes be a bit finicky with its detection (for instance, I recall landing close to the edge and dying on more than one occasion); the other being that apparently progress in the game saves locally and not via steam cloud so I unfortunately had to start from scratch when my computer broke down. Nevertheless, I do recommend this game and hope that you've moved onto even better and more ambitious things since our brief exchange, you evidently have the potential within you. I guess the real MochiMochi was the tomodachi we made along the way.
This game makes me wanna ragequit and try again when you knew the next section is expecting how you swing over T T It ain't cost much. The rules are simple, you swing to control your momentum and do not collide with wall, boxes, ceiling, floor, or fall into hole. You can however, have your hand swing over a section of wall, just ignore that logic XD No checkpoint, no something like life lost when hit by a box, so it is all trail and error, and that's what most indie platformer games trying to do. Something nice to play for a short while and try back again.
This game is so cute! It's gorgeous and the music is sick as hell. It's super simple (and sometimes frustrating), but the visuals and music are too good and make you want to keep playing. It reminds me of Umihara Kawase and Spiderman, except cats so it's obviously better. It gets challenging pretty quickly, and dying to literally anything can be annoying, but I personally don't mind it much. Once you get the hang of the swinging, it's not so bad. I'm only on World 2, and I can't wait to keep playing. If this had more content and/or was on a console, I'd definitely pay $5+ for it. Great work!
oh my god i spent 15 hours just to 100% this game and i enjoyed every second. gg
Keki how did you get Mere for the music on this game????

A cute little adventure made by an awesome artist. It's great to play when you have some free time.
