snowman adventure is truly a masterpiece that more people should experience. the carefully crafted gameplay accompanied with the beautiful, never seen before soundtrack make for one of the bestest experiences i've ever had with a videogame. its difficulty is worth of the "father of the souls-like" title. the ending was heartwarming, a nice reward for your efforts at beating the game. a life changing experience, i must say.

Snowman Adventure is an Unreal Engine asset flip from the Russian asset flippers at Quarlellle, who have shown a consistent pattern of dumping Unreal Marketplace assets onto Steam in an attempt to get paid for other people's work. This asset flip is a very basic linear third person platformer with what looks like an asset flipped snowman (no surprises from Quarlellle here if they have once more taken the work of others and put their own name on it). It's flipped from the tired, dead copy+pasted Unreal Third Person BP Game Template. Taking this seriously as a game (which nobody should), it's a train wreck. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. Everything looks blurry based on the locked resolution and badly implemented post-processing. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. I cannot recommend anyone pays for this or rewards the efforts of unethical asset flippers like Quarlellle. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development, and are an insult to both PC gamers and to professional game developers who dedicate themselves to producing real, high quality PC games. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that genuinely made indie games should have. One final note: Due to the very poor quality of the game, all the comedians came out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere/mocking the game, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.
