I'd recommend it as a game to play while you listen to a podcast but if you are on the fence play the demo. It's a very decent little game and I've had very few bugs. With it being part tower defense and part factory. It's at times a weird stepchild to the two genres that have inspired it. The factorys aren't that complex and tools at your disposal can be clunky (The only splitter is left right only, filters only filter to the front and shunt everything else to the side, there is no multi select filters). And while the tower defense isn't particularly deep. The enemies do each having unique gimmicks to work around that present novel challenges and are probably the strongest part of the game.
This game is an interesting take on a factory/tower defense hybrid. It has a little bit of logistical-puzzle stuff going on, in so far as trying to figure out how to fit all the factory stuff you want into the limited space you have without compromising the tower defense portion. My biggest issue was the difficulty in refactoring things. Sometimes, I wanted to change how a bunch of stuff I had previously built works, but it was a huge pain since there is no "disable spawning" toggle, and the waves are continuous. Overall, I'd say it was worth the $9 I spent on it in terms of enjoyment. It was worth the $9 I paid for it.

So this is basically a tower defence game with automation, you use the resources the enemies drop to build and progress, and the different enemy traits are a bit of a puzzle as well, it's a clever idea and well executed in my opinion. I wouldn't say there's tons of replayability but I definitely got my moneys worth.
If you love games like Shapez, hydroneer, or other such optimization games, you will love this game. Its a little rough around the edges but the gameplay is pretty fun.
