MLB Home Run Derby VR

I really hope the show makes a vr game. This is awesome but very minimal. I can't wait till be have a full baseball game with feilding and pitching and hopefully a way to destroy friends online. Anyways this is a good homerun derby sim with good graphics. Only problem is that hitting with one hand and just flicking yeilds 700ft homeruns but actually hitting with 2 hands only gets me like 500ft max

the foundation for a great vr baseball game is already there, and considering the lack of quality vr baseball games out currently, it is a great opportunity to transform this into a full match game. The hitting, stadiums and teams are all complete, and all that is left is having runners on base, run scoring, and competent pitching to finish the game. Although those things would be difficult to implement, theres no doubt that when finished, it would be a great product. Maybe after you could have specific pitchers from the league and add them as opposing pitchers with their full pitch arsenal and average pitch movement (and maybe even an advanced AI that could mimic the pitchers location preferences). Even if that takes months or years to develop, it would provide people with a game that is enjoyable to play, leading to baseball becoming more popular. Its a very obvious development path, and I hope that they're doing that currently, but for now, its still a sorta fun game

Love the idea, but a half-baked job of it. It looks amazing. However, no haptics to simulate contact. The bat feels way shorter than it should be (or hey, maybe it should be a choice. I mean, MLB developed this. Pick a player from each team, simulate each of their bats, let the person playing the game choose their bat from that.) Pitches come in at the knees. They're way too slow with no option that I can see to increase speed. Yes, there's a pro vs normal difficulty but it doesn't seem to affect pitch speed. I'm a righty, and literally every pitch gets pulled unless I twist my stance way out of line. Most importantly though, the pitching is just totally off. It's like the ball floats forward to the plate instead of it being thrown forward. I know that sounds the same, but it's not. It looks and feels completely unnatural.

It makes my height low to where I can't play.

Super simple game, and also super fun game. Graphics are somewhere in between pretty decent to somewhat looking like it could have been made on a non new gen console system. Game is nice to look at, so many stadiums to enjoy, animations on fans is meh but you aren't going to be looking at them too often anyways, just when you turn to apologize to them when you pop them with a foul ball. Hitting feels in between realistic and arcade like, if such a thing exists, this is how hitting in this game feels. For the most part it has never felt like the ball went in some direction I did not swing it to do. Lots of stats are kept, you got a few options in settings to tweak but nothing like a sim game or anything. At the time of writing this is only $9.99 and is a fully licensed vr batting cage wherever your headset is, enjoy, totally worth it, or throw on wishlist and pray for a sale and grab for sure if you like the hitting ball part of baseball and nothing more.

This game gets annoying sometimes because I have to poop my pants but I amm too busy playing so then I ♥♥♥♥ my pants, but all around a pretty fun game. :)))

Horrible. The pitcher pitches the ball way to low to the point I have to swing towards the ground. Its not realistic at all. I want my money back. just cant enjoy this game. I literally played for 2 minutes and am highly disappointed in wasting my money.

Wasn't able to play long enough to know if it's good or fun. They didn't really think this one through, my play space is pretty big, I can play most VR games roomscale. This game decided to put home plate in the center of the play area with no way to change it. So, if I'm right handed, I'm standing next to my wall instead of the center of the play area, changing my view through oculus works with every single game I've ever played, except this one. Refunded.
