Miwa: The Sacred Fox

This is maybe the worst game I've ever played. Starting off, the spritework is stiff and lifeless, only having a few sprites for our protagonist for the whole game. The jumping physics are absolutely pathetic, feeling like a Castlevania style weighty jump in a game with platforming that tries to imitate the likes of Cave Story or Mega Man, as every single obstacle kills you in a single hit if you so much as scrape it. The level design is horrible, never telegraphing anything you're supposed to do and either simple or frustrating at every point. Your moveset is agonizingly simple for the vast majority of the game, and by the time it finally becomes more complex, the game breaks You get a simple dash and that's it for a while. Then you get a charge-up super jump. You can charge that jump in the air. That means you can *fly,* completely skipping all the awful level design in the game There is never a sign of you hitting something or getting hit, and every fight feels super limp. Alongside that, the hitboxes are broken; every attack only works incredibly close to you, despite your striking range appearing to be very long. The backgrounds are absolutely stunning, and the music is spectacular; however, that is ruined by the atrocious sound design of actual attacks and the even worse spritework. The game will have obstacles and platforms that appear as if they're apart of the foreground or background, completely invisible to your perception until you actually get screwed over from them. One hit kill stalactites will spawn in out of nowhere and kill you for walking wrong. DO NOT play this game PLEASE

I've heard about this game a while back from one of my teachers and I was thrilled to finally have the opportunity to try it out. The visual presentation of this game is truly breathtaking, particularly when it comes to water reflections. While I appreciate the developers' attempt to incorporate two distinct art styles, I must admit that it can be slightly jarring at times. The pixel art and vector styles, although individually well-executed, clash in terms of aesthetics. It can sometimes create a visual inconsistency that momentarily pulls me out of the otherwise immersive experience. Overall 8.5/10

This game has very simple controls and a very simple goal. Calm relaxing platform game. Gorgeous graphics. Can´t wait for more. If you don´t mind please make harder levels :D. Overall, I give it a 9/10 rating.

I was excited when I heard that this game was made by a high school student. Big thumbs up for the guy, I hope he will make more games. The music is great too. I don't if he made it all by himself. If yes, that's great and he's really skilled. If not, that's still really cool and I look up to this guy.

I have played this game for only two hours and i already love it . There are - and +. The music and those sounds are awesome just like the look of this game. The story is simple and interesting. The combat is not that difficult but it does require some skills to have. However the booby traps and parkour can make you a bit angry. Maybe i am just not that good , thats just my opinion. But overall I definitely recommend this game for anyone.
