About
Mitnal is a short passion project by a solo developer where you play as Emily, not an adventurer, but someone who loves history and trusts the person who invited her.
Her brother has always been the explorer. He tells her the site is safe. Incredible. Something people wait their whole lives to see. Against her better judgment and driven by curiosity, she goes.
Experience a dense jungle approach, a weathered stone temple, and the catacombs. What begins as quiet exploration slowly turns unsettling.
Murals, relics, and abandoned equipment suggest that something was uncovered and that the site was never meant to be entered this way. As Emily descends deeper, it becomes clear that her brother may have misunderstood what he was dealing with… or ignored it entirely.
This is a focused atmospheric horror experience built around exploration, tension, and environmental storytelling. The temple reveals its secrets slowly through murals, relics, and subtle details in the environment.
Players who take their time to observe and explore will uncover more of what truly happened here.
Some discoveries are not meant to be shared.
Some invitations should never be accepted.

i dont usually rate horror indie games due thier lack of originality but this one has an original setting with above average story to tell BUT the music choices here .. OH man .. although they were breaking the intensity of the game BUT OMG they were magical .. i would buy the game just for them Pros : 1- setting and graphics 2- MUSIC 3- Voice acting of some characters done well here Cons : 1- very cheap jumpscares 2- optimization very bad 3- nothing is taken from other games " No AI slop " generally speaking i would recommended this game if u already know what ur getting ur self into and would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to check the good tracks here waiting for similar projects since thier first game was ok at best " Absum "
okay this game is insane good, dam good.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING GAME!!! JUMP SCARES ARE ON POINT, ALSO THE STORY IS CHILLING. STAY FOR THE END CREDIT MUSIC 10/10
Just finished my playthrough of your game. I loved it. The atmosphere was great, the build felt paced appropriately. The story was great and doesn't seem like a rehash like I'm used to seeing. All around I feel it's a 10/10. Keep it up I'll have a video up on my YT channel at 7am CST on 3/10/26. I will post a link to my channel if you would like to check it out. Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing more of your creations at work. https://www.youtube.com/@SkyPirateGaming
Good game! Worth checking out for sure!
This game is amazing from the storyline, graphics, voice acting and jump scares absolutely amazing and I will definitely be recommending this game to others. A brilliant game.
A good bite-sized horror game, great voice acting, sound design and graphics, and in a setting that has been mostly unutilized in gaming.
Mógłbym to porównać do Amenti.
Mixo's at it again creating another masterpiece! I for one always love jumpscares in games its the only i can truly feel alive lol but joking aside the story was so good and the look and feel of the game is great! i say give it a try. i'll edit this review once i post my video to YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cOHG5RRIBA p.s. yes I voice Daniel/Danny so i can see if yall may think i'm a bit biased however i've enjoyed every mixo game so far even from a gamers perspective :) great jumpscares great creepy vibes whats not to like!
