Mistward

Mistward is a short, 10-15 hour playthrough that has you fighting off a deadly fog with light on a small island. There's not much in terms of explanation, but the game is simple and doesn't really require much. That said, the goal of the game is to power a few magical items to destroy a gemstone responsible for creating the mist. The game is simple, doesn't have much depth, and is a little janky. If you're looking for a little getaway from the norm, a game that you can listen to a podcast while playing, or something to 100% without dedicating your life to, I'd say give it a shot. I would value the game at about $6, which is what I paid while it was on sale.

The concept of the game is fun and I like it but the team in charge abandon it before it could be upgraded. Just another game with potential gone to waste.

I love the concept. The controls are a hair fiddly (your character doesn't path plan on their own), but the game is a lot of fun. If you get into this, try exploring quickly and REALLY rely on your villagers. Search for anything you haven't found before.

The game is a bit uncomfortable to use, but it has its charm. I would say go for it if you have the patience, it is indeed satisfying to see everything working. I didn't think I would see the ending as I thought I'd give up connecting everything - but I did, and I expect I won't hop into it again for a long time. It's the sort of torture that you might enjoy. But don't do it for the ending or you will be absolutely disappointed just like I was.

O jogo é com acesso antecipado, ou seja, não está completo. Eu não comprei o jogo, sou assinante do patreon dos devs e recebi uma cópia aqui na steam (o que vale muito a pena se você gosta do estilo de jogos desenvolvidos por eles!! Sai super em conta pra quem é BR) O jogo não te ensina nada, te joga em um mundo e você vai descobrindo o que fazer, é muito divertido e envolvente mas precisei recorrer ao youtube diversas vezes para entender alguma coisa do jogo que não tinha ficado claro, e, por ser um jogo "recente" não tem muitos criadores de conteúdo do jogo ainda, vi gameplay do felps e alguns outros ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, que me ajudaram a entender como jogar Eu ainda não zerei, não fiz tudo que é possível ser feito no jogo. A mecânica não é fluida, mesmo sendo simples. Quase tudo é feito com o mouse apenas, não existe "atalhos de comando" para combate ou coleta (como existe em dont starve, por exemplo), por não existirem muitos atalhos para facilitar a jogabilidade, isso incomoda muito quando vc fica várias horas jogando sem parar :/ Sinto que até o momento não exploraram tudo que tornaria imersivo e divertido, sinto falta de possibilidades de plantação ou cultivo de animais, combate e exploração da caverna, os recursos também nao renascem e nao existe forma de produzir eles por conta própria com uma semente (posso estar equivocada) então os recursos sao "limitados". Recomendo muito esse jogo se estiver em promoção! Se não, recomendo comprar quando estiver 100% completo, visto que, sei que o dev vai ajeitar tudo que está faltando :D

有创意，有潜力的小游戏，但是操作繁复且包含各种不方便，例如对不准、遮挡镜头、提示错误、流程混乱等等。今年至今也没有更新，如果没有改进的话，建议不要买。

처음에는 나무 재생기를 몰라서 나무 다 말라서 다시하고 그 다음에는 갈대를 막 사용해서 기술 해금 못해서 다시하고 그 다음에는 갈대도 사용해서 기술 해금했는데 이상하게 갈대를 다 사용해도 기술 해금이 다음 단계를 진행할 수 있을 정도로 전부 되지 않아서 빡쳐서 그만 두었습니다. 우라늄 발전기 쯤에서 방호복같은 기술해금에서 막혔는데, 제가 중요한 기술을 해금하지 못해서인지, 그냥 갈대가 부족했는지 모르겠습니다. 자동화하는 게임인데, 자동화가 너무 불편해서 다시는 못 할것 같아요.

Updated for 2026. Dupe glitch was removed and bat glitch (horrible lag) was apparently fixed. Honestly, considering the price... I'd find something else instead. I genuinely enjoy the game but it just has way too many issues that will never get fixed. I can't at all recommend it. If you get it, just know the 1.0 update didn't change much besides some fixes. Get rimworld, dotage, oxygen not included or somethin else instead if you want this sort of thing. Great game with a really long grind that isn't as rewarding as you'd hope. It's fun to build up your city and automate things in a game that is easy to understand and get into. It just has problems and the progression is too slow because there isn't enough things to unlock throughout it. Majority of buildings are related to food, yet there's no reason to use food besides berries. The other ones take an absurd amount of maintenance and for what? you're better off getting wood/brick houses and living off of berries. The food is useless outside of for eating. And why do mushrooms take a whole hour to regenerate when berries just take half a minute? I do not care about logic bro they literally are useless outside of eating and have the same exact food value. And honestly there's a ton of other issues I could go into but don't feel like doing so. The game also has a stroke if you try to hold a stack of items over 8 or so (shift+left click). (I haven't checked if this was fixed)
