for arcade space lovers be right here!

Easy and short space shooter. Easy Achievements, 100% / 7min.
Easy Achievements!
Leárazva vettem, 8 perc alatt simán végigjátszottam, rövid és nagyon egyszerű, de ennyi pénzt megért.
I can only recommend this game because it has promise . It can turn out to be a good game EVENTUALLY. The GoOD: Nice Graphics, good firing sounds. Good amount of alien ships to shoot. THE BAD: The First Boss looks like a Refrigerator. The Ship you control is too sensitive, too fast when it comes to moving direction, way too fast. When you don't win a level it says game over , so I goto the main menu to retry that level I click it and its stuck in the game over screen unless I shut down the game and re-launch it .. And the frame rate , man this thing needs to be compressed more .. I have a fast PC, and this thing has bad frame rate . That being said , This game has promise ..
Just more god awful, buggy trash from shovelware "developer" Tero Lunkka aka Valkeala Software. Honestly impressive that a game this simple is able to constantly lag down to ~5 fps. AVOID, SPEND YOUR MONEY LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.
Mission In Space is a modest indie arcade shooter created by Mixtor and Tero Lunkka, with publishing handled by Tero Lunkka. The game belongs firmly within the tradition of classic space shooters, presenting a straightforward premise where players pilot a small combat spacecraft through dangerous sectors of outer space filled with hostile enemies and drifting asteroids. Rather than emphasizing narrative depth or cinematic presentation, the game focuses almost entirely on arcade-style action, delivering a short but direct gameplay experience centered on survival, reflexes, and continuous combat against waves of hostile forces. The concept intentionally mirrors the structure of old-school arcade shooters where players are thrown immediately into action, learning the mechanics through repetition and gradually improving their performance with each attempt. The core gameplay loop revolves around maneuvering a spacecraft across a two-dimensional battlefield while firing missiles and rockets at incoming enemy ships. Controls are simple and accessible, allowing players to focus primarily on dodging hazards and maintaining a steady offensive against approaching targets. Enemy vessels attack in groups, sometimes firing projectiles of their own, while asteroids drift unpredictably through the play area. Avoiding these obstacles becomes just as important as defeating enemies, since collisions can quickly end a run if the player is not careful. This constant balancing act between offense and defense forms the backbone of the game’s challenge, requiring players to stay alert and react quickly as threats approach from different directions. The campaign structure is relatively compact, consisting of six linear stages that gradually increase in difficulty. Each level introduces a larger number of enemies and more chaotic environmental hazards, pushing the player to refine their maneuvering skills. Early stages act as a gentle introduction to the game’s mechanics, allowing players to learn how to navigate the battlefield and coordinate their attacks. As the levels progress, however, the density of enemy ships and asteroids increases, creating moments where precise movement becomes essential to survival. This gradual escalation gives the game a familiar arcade rhythm where each stage feels slightly more demanding than the last. At the end of every level, players face a boss encounter that serves as the primary challenge of that stage. These bosses are typically larger enemy vessels that require sustained fire to defeat while simultaneously unleashing attacks that the player must avoid. These encounters provide a welcome shift from the regular enemy waves, forcing players to concentrate their firepower and carefully study attack patterns in order to survive. The boss fights introduce a small amount of variety and tension into the otherwise straightforward gameplay loop, acting as the climactic moment of each level before the player moves on to the next sector of space. Visually, Mission In Space adopts a minimalistic style that prioritizes clarity over visual complexity. The backgrounds consist of dark cosmic environments dotted with stars and asteroid fields, while ships and projectiles are rendered in simple two-dimensional designs. Although the graphics lack the detail and polish found in larger space shooters, they remain functional and easy to read during fast-paced combat. This simplicity ensures that players can quickly identify incoming threats without the screen becoming cluttered or confusing. The sound design follows a similarly understated approach, featuring basic effects for weapon fire, explosions, and enemy destruction that reinforce the arcade atmosphere without becoming distracting. One of the game’s defining characteristics is its lightweight and accessible nature. The entire experience can be completed in a relatively short amount of time, making it well suited for players looking for quick bursts of action rather than lengthy gaming sessions. Because of its short level structure and uncomplicated mechanics, it is easy to jump into a stage, attempt a run, and either progress or retry without a significant time investment. This makes the game feel closer to a traditional arcade cabinet experience where players can repeatedly attempt to improve their performance and master the mechanics. However, the simplicity that defines Mission In Space is also its most noticeable limitation. The game offers very few systems beyond the basic shooting and dodging mechanics. There are no extensive upgrade trees, weapon customization options, or branching mission paths that might deepen the gameplay over time. Enemy types are limited, and once players become familiar with their behavior patterns, the experience can begin to feel repetitive. This lack of variety reduces long-term replay value, especially for players accustomed to more complex modern shooters. Despite these shortcomings, the game still manages to capture a certain nostalgic charm associated with classic arcade shooters. Its uncomplicated design reflects an era when games relied primarily on quick reflexes and pattern recognition rather than layered progression systems. For players who appreciate small indie projects or enjoy collecting lesser-known titles within the shooter genre, the game offers a simple and approachable experience that can be enjoyed in short sessions. Ultimately, Mission In Space is best viewed as a small-scale arcade-style experiment rather than a fully developed modern shooter. It succeeds in delivering a functional gameplay loop centered on classic space combat, but its limited content and minimal feature set prevent it from reaching the depth found in more ambitious titles. Even so, its straightforward action and easy accessibility can provide brief moments of enjoyment for players seeking a lightweight arcade experience that captures the spirit of retro space shooters. Rating: 6/10
It`s good little space mission shooter game with many small ship enemies and boss enemy ship in every level. Nice achievements and controller support for Switch Pro.
