For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Missile Dancer 2 is an arcade styled rail shooter that implements caravan mechanics of a traditional STG Shoot em up. The game artstyle wise goes for an old school vibe with catchy music giving it a feeling that I’m playing something from my childhood. TERARIN is known for making a variety of fantastic shmups and this game feels no different. The gameplay is very straightforward which allows you to jump into the game immediately. You have a shot, dodge roll and missiles. There are three different types of missiles which allow for speed, damage or quantity. The game allows you to get extends ( 1ups) every 2 million points or so depending on the difficulty. Best way to increase your score is to increase your chain rate by continuously locking and releasing missiles that are the same enemy/boss or chaining your missiles with new enemies that arrive. Of course, there are hidden bonuses for attacking fast enough just like a caravan would in a shmup. The game consists of 16 Stages which at first sounded too long but luckily if you’re someone like me that loves chasing 1CC’S then it only took about 30-40 minutes to get a clear. A caravan mode is also in the game for those who love to chase the online leaderboards in a timely manner. I personally recommend playing this game with a controller for less confusion but there are different button mappings/options for your comfort, so ultimately it's up to the player. My main issues with the game are very minor. The first being that It seemingly was hard to know if a blue bullet was going to hit you or not even though you dodgerolled. Also I’m sure people will have trouble with visibility when seeing smoke come off the missiles. Now I will say that I eventually got used to it by relying on my practice/awareness not to mention the dodge roll invincibility frames must be much shorter than I anticipated. Eventually you'll realize that not everything needs to be dodge rolled and maybe just some up and down movements will save you just fine. The game has some repetition in both enemies and environment which could be off putting to some but I personally don’t mind it. Just like TERARIN’s other games, this one seems to share the same sentiment and passion. I enjoyed this one and recommend people give it a try.
This is a truly great shooting game. If you love classic arcade games like After Burner and Galaxy Force you will love this game.
Are you old enough to remember Afterburner, Space Harrier, Galaxy Force, Burning Force or Thunder Ceptor? Well strap yourself in, because Missile Dancer 2 is an approachable homage to those games and I love it. (Even if you're not old enough to remember any of those please try it anyway. Trust me, it's a great game.) I'm a visually-impaired player. My eyesight is terrible and I have no peripheral vision. For instance, I can't actually see the vertical position display while I'm attempting to dodge items on screen. Yet here I am, having managed to 1cc Normal in 2 attempts and Hard difficulty on my first try. Expert is still kicking my butt (Made it to Stage 5 of 16) but I know with practice I'll manage to beat it. Even if you're new to this style of game it isn't frustrating at all to get into. Caravan Mode is a great test of your ability to utilize the scoring system, and is a nice "pick up and play" experience. The music, as with all TERARIN GAMES releases, is fantastic. I haven't spent as much time with the chiptune remixes but I enjoyed the Caravan Mode remix a lot. The sound effects and voices are effective at giving game cues too. The graphics are also pretty good, and the feel of a sprite scaling arcade game shines through really well. I will give one warning though -- if you suffer from epileptic seizures, this game has the potential to cause you some problems. Rather than 3D textured shapes, everything is done by scaling sprites up from very small to very large -- this includes structures such as tunnels, which do present a minor flicker as sprites pop in, scale up and disappear. All in all would I recommend this game? You bet I would. I even caught a few references to older games, specifically the
Binzbins enemies from Space Harrier
and the
road stages which made me immediately think of Night Striker
. So as an older gamer who grew up in the era where these kinds of games were popular, Missile Dancer 2 put a smile on my face.
Meh, sorry. I completed it on normal mode on my very first game and ranked 74th very first game with 3 lives left, and it's clear going by the score differences that with concentration I could quickly get up the leaderboard.. See but that's the thing, I don't care, and because of that, there is no real hook here for me. If you are going to do an afterburner clone you better be sure to do a good one. What I expect in a modern Afterburner type game are some main gun power ups. There are no shield replenish pickups, there are no gun power ups, just the same 3 types of missiles from the very first stage through the entire game. To be honest, I got bored and just wanted to get through it to see the end. Speaking of: *spoilers* after you defeat the last boss there's another, and I had put the controller down as it said mission complete already LOL, so lost a life then. There's an ending after all that, so that's nice. Graphics have their moments, the sound track is "ok". The issue is that I keep comparing it to Afterburner, and that was a really difficult game that kept you laser focused the entire time. Sure, it didn't have power ups either, but that was almost 40 years ago and it's simply a much better game than Missile Dancer 2. Plus, it had that incredible, driving soundtrack. This one is more campy. Good tunes but did it fit the gameplay? I don't really think so. OK, so I am a veteran at shmups, but completing it the VERY first game? With 3 lives left and it would've been 4 had I not put down the controller when I thought I had already beaten it? The only things that got me were the dodge scenery scenes, once you have learned those you can breeze through this on a one CC. I decided not to try the harder modes because I just didn't enjoy the gameplay enough so wanted to return it, especially at the price. Just use the dodge button when the screen is full of projectiles, keep the fire button held down to shoot down the destructible enemy missiles and and press your missile button as needed and you'll go right through this one. At least on standard difficulty, that is. Not for me, and shmups are my number one favourite genre. High score chasers might like it, since there are online leaderboards. I think the best word to describe it all was boring.
Fluid scrolling Afterburner like game. I could've refunded it in less time than it took to get 14M+ and a 1CC. Please add an option to turn of the voice actor; she's not too interested in her job. EDIT: After playing Mirage Feathers (also by one dude in Japan), there's no way in good conscience I could ever recommend this.
