MISERY is a 1–10 player co-op survival game set in a nuclear disaster zone. Here, every day is a struggle: search radioactive ruins for resources, build your bunker, craft weapons, and explore a weird, procedurally-generated world with your friends. Beware of anomalies, monsters, and armed bandits.

About
You play as PMCs guarding a secret research institute in the Republic of Zaslavie.
The Scientific Institute for Research of the Zaslavie Exclusion Zone (SIRZEZ) was built before the war to study anomalies and artifacts. Over time, these artifacts became the cause of conflict between international military blocs. Neither side could allow artifacts to fall into enemy hands, ultimately leading to nuclear war.
A siren sounds — a nuclear bomb is incoming! You have 60 seconds to grab whatever you can and make it to the bunker. Then, the survival begins. Each day, you venture into the Exclusion Zone to scavenge procedurally generated locations: abandoned military bases and research stations, radioactive wastelands, and ruined cities.
The Zone is full of secrets and deadly traps, and radiation is far from the only threat.
You’ll encounter other survivors ready to kill for food and resources, weird mutated creatures with unique behaviors, and various anomalies.

No one knows how exactly anomalies work or their origin. Some phenomena can help you, others will tear you apart. Anomaly areas often hide artifacts — rare, valuable items distorted by anomalies and charged with unique effects.

The bunker is your new home.
Expand it room by room: install generators (gas, solar, or gnome-powered), build crafting stations, grow food, cook meals, and decorate your shelter with whatever you drag back from raids: a table, a dresser, a worn-out sofa, or even a cozy rug. Don’t worry, the previous owners won’t be needing them anymore.
After each raid, you can unwind and chill at the bar in the basement of the institute: have a drink, talk to other survivors, and trade your loot and rare artifacts with the merchant.

Remember, watch your vitals.
In the Zone, people can easily die from hunger, thirst, radiation sickness, or lose their minds and turn on their teammates. Go out looting during the day, and return to bunker before nightfall.
And one last thing: the Zone plays with your mind. Too much stress and you’ll start hearing whispers, seeing things that aren’t there, and feeling someone watching you. Lose your grip, and not even the bunker will save you. Nothing will.
Life in MISERY isn’t easy.
But there’s nothing better than going through it all together.
Exploring bandos with friends, watching each other’s backs, sitting by the fire, drinking whatever’s left, and exhaling smoke into the cold rain — in moments like these, you can feel alive again!

Solid foundation. Game is fun (until monsters show up), though combat and gear progression need some work. Your character mysteriously can't do a lot of very obvious and very helpful things, and the game seems to insist on giving you gear to handle things AFTER you flounder against them for a while. The biggest one: Deviations from common sense should only be used to improve quality-of-life, never to create difficulty, because it too-often takes the form of the game deliberately lying to the player, either through visuals or mechanics, which is never fun. >can't craft bandages even though they're literally a piece of cloth and maybe antiseptic >can't craft firecrackers even though we can craft ammo for guns >can't use armor plates even though we could literally just slip them into our shirt, would be helpful against gun-toting enemies. speaking of which... >guns are both hard to obtain and useless... for YOU. >zombie soldiers are a common spawn and they always spawn with guns. they hurt pretty badly until you have good armor. and you can't take their guns after killing them. why? it's right there. why can't I reach down and grab it? If guns are supposed to be very hard to obtain in this world, then enemies shouldn't have them so easily. >after you go through the expensive process of crafting a gun, you will quickly find that they are basically useless against anything bigger than a human >once monster enemies show up, you're SOL. you have no good options in combat against them. they're strong (can 2-shot you if you have the best gear available, 1-shot if you don't), fast (you can't outrun them), and tanky (you need 50-70 hits to kill them), and this game has NO viable defensive combat mechanics to master using skill. Enemy melee attacks are aimbot hitscan and blocking is useless. your only saving grace is cheese. You can jump on top of an obstacle, since they can't climb, hoping that your melee range exceeds theirs, and hacking away with the best melee weapon you have. Or getting lucky and their pathing AI glitches out so you can hack away. fun and riveting combat, folks. i know the dev wants these enemies to be hard, but stat bloat is NOT the way to do it. >if they're intended to be sneaked around, this game needs more stealth mechanics to make stealth viable. At least let us craft firecrackers. The game is only fun up until monsters show up. It had nice progression and it felt nice conquering the scarce resources and exploring weird anomalies. But the monsters just softlock you. There is no more game to be had. And getting oneshot while wearing heavy armor feels incredibly bad. What is this, Helldivers 2? Gaben once defined fun as "the degree to which the game world responds to the player's actions." And this world barely acknowledges you. Even some physics would liven things up.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
