Küçük Robot MIO Leydi'nin Maceraları!
It's okey the game but the bosses are really tough, is not a game to be beat for all people. I understand that is a cause to be the best ever like every souls and some people like to be like that. But really i think that the game is not easy and i thinkl that for most people is going to be frustating
This game is an Ori-inspired Metroidvania with Souls-like combat and a clear Hollow Knight/Silksong influence also. It's a huge world with cool lore, a lot of cool traversal abilities, a unique and interesting take on the modifier/upgrade system, multiple endings, and a wide variety of combat and platforming challenges. While I do recommend it overall for a lot of reasons, I will have more bad than good to say in this review. The good: The art, music, and sound design are incredible. The movement is fluid and graceful, and especially once you have all the movement abilities, you are flying through rooms with grace. There are lots of secrets to find, and the lore is fascinating. The cinematic sequences are breathtaking and touching, and the endings are emotionally satisfying. The platforming challenges are unique and incredibly creative. The bad: My primary complaint with this game is it's somewhat disrespectful of the player's time. It is fundamentally about an 8-10 hour game made artificially longer (my 100% playthrough is about 36 hours) by needlessly tanky boss fights, unnecessary prompts, and brutal checkpointing in platforming sections. The devs enabled a great deal of flexibility in a lot of areas, and they should be commended for this, but there are a lot of places where they very obviously want you to have exactly the experience they intend, and that experience is delayed gratification bordering on sadism. Which, to be fair, is somewhat on-brand for a French development team. Jokes aside, the bosses are tanky and fast, have un-skippable aura farming, and there are some fairly offensive runbacks even with perfectly optimized pathing and movement. The shortest runback is about 30 seconds from respawn to regaining control of the player, and while that doesn't seem like a lot, 30 seconds add up over time. Especially when there is no real reason gameplay or lore-wise that one should have to do this, it starts to feel pretty oppressive. Some, not all, platforming sections essentially force you to do the entire thing over if you make a mistake, and the fact that only some of them do makes it feel wildly arbitrary and unnecessary. Then there's the tremor mechanic. It's certainly a choice. It's not one I would like to see made in any future MV. The final issue is that you never quite feel powerful. Whether this is a problem for the reader is a matter of preference, but for me, the end of a MV should have me feeling like I can overcome anything, and MIO does not grant this. Indeed, eventually you are able to one-shot enemies that initially take 5+ hits to defeat, and you learn techniques and can gain modifiers that increase your damage output, but that damage increase only ever feels incremental. Summary: This is a very good game. It is not an excellent game. It is not a game for the unobservant, and if you don't like tanky bosses, it is not for you. If you like being challenged and have the time to spend learning how to overcome that challenge, you will enjoy MIO.
Great art-style - it bought me. Sadly I got rather less patient to the hard-locking bugs - so it's a no here. Looks like the "fixed" Vault/Lab bug is still there, there is only one save file so I can't go back to earlier state, nor do i plan to restart the game.
