Mini Cozy Room: Lo-Fi

Frustratingly benign. This is not a productivity tool so much as it is an idle game that drains time. The pixel artstyle is nice, and I haven't found another good tool like this that doesn't take up your whole screen, but similarly its too diminuative to be worth much. Its music is nice if that's what you have in the background but there are so many different options to have music while you work that this doesn't offer very much with that. It takes ages to unlock any of the customisation you want and gets progressively slower and more tedious in how you can make use of the tool itself with limited options that it ends up being a side-frustration rather than a help. Progression should be lightly encouraged, but on your own timer that suits the person/player, not with arbitrary dole outs of currency and a radioplayer that encourages you to clicker-game spam it every few minutes to get enough points to actually customise the way you want to. Then past that point you really don't have much you can customise without a lot of time invested into the game, and if you get to a new different room that you like, you need to start again, from scratch in order to start decorating it - to the point that you are not even given STARTING furniture in your new spaces. And while the currency comes slower and slower the longer you have it open, the rewards also cost more and more. It makes it just feel like a little gimmick colourful thing on my desktop that drives me through addiction design to get as much of the customisation unlocks I want but never makes it feel like I being more productive with that mix of small nice distraction/motivation. The options for the room use are so small and the multiplayer is odd and very bare. Making it feel, at least for me, like I'd rather have the app closed, or open and minimised just so I can get the dang points. There are many options for tools like this, and while none of them have this 'side-bar' like use-space (which I wish they did), they feel involved enough to immerse you and not distract you, and the tools feel like they are made for your use with you rewarding yourself for your time and your way of playing. Where Mini Cozy Room starts out nice, it starts to feel like its made with the modern video game practice of causing routine addiction rather than being enjoyable, or simply pleasant. Which makes me very sad to say, as the fixes are simple, and its making currency far easier to acquire, tying 'exp' to your goals, not massive stretches of time. Moving things in the space as you please, and having a sense of reward for finishing your to-do list or timers. I can understand why this one is positively recieved, I cannot understand why it is overwhelmingly positive at all. Also a list of DLC more expensive than the game for many of the customisations that should already be there. Not cool.

很不错的一个小挂机游戏，但是房间不够多家具可选的也不够多，部分玩家会喜欢这种只有小部分地区是gif类重复动的，也有部分玩家会喜欢有很多能自动动起来的小房间可以供自己休息的时候看着发发呆，呃比如我这种，不知道未来能不能更新一下网络联机播放呢，听一下房主的歌单，vetube什么的在线对中国玩家好像不是很友好我基本没有连上过，还有能不能拓宽一下房间的种类呢，建造一些多功能多风格可供发呆时候盯着看的房间，比如房主cos成酒馆在昏黄的灯光下给访客倒酒，营造一个温暖舒适有格调的小房间或者什么街边能有雨滴划痕的咖啡厅大家坐在窗前喝咖啡的小房间，目前感觉家具款式很少而且好像还有dlc的才能解锁，我也只买了两三个dlc，喜欢后续的有关于房间和装饰内容可以是免费通过音符解锁呢，而且游戏的聊天社交属性也不是很重几乎可以说没什么用捏，大家好像更喜欢用小便签写点什么，希望后续也可以加入更多表情或者制作组制作的表情包。而且能否标明并拓宽一下音频的录入呢，我有的音频是视频转格式来的，有的可以播放有的反而不行。还有还有玩家在房间中的待机动作太少拉，在那个新的6人大房间内，怎么还有发呆的小朋友，明明可以钓鱼什么的，一起烤火或者露营野营吃烧烤什么的。未来能不能设置一个能固定的邀请制私密社区小房间呢，并且设置有上线和下线挂机动作，大家可以解锁自己喜欢内容，为这个共同的小房间添砖加瓦加入属于自己的小元素，很期待这个游戏制作组后续的更新呢，明明还有很大的潜力，也希望看到这条评论的你们可以考虑一下入手呢，很不错的一个小游戏，欢迎你们的加入 It's a pretty good little idle game, but there aren't enough rooms or furniture options. Some players like these games where only a few areas are repetitive like GIFs, while others like having lots of auto-moving rooms for you to relax and zone out. For example, for someone like me, I wonder if they'll update online playback in the future. Listen to the host's playlist. Things like YouTube online don't seem very friendly to Chinese players, so I haven't connected to them before. Also, can we expand the types of rooms, building multifunctional and multi-style rooms that you can watch while daydreaming? For example, the host cosplays as a tavern, pouring drinks for visitors under dim lighting, creating a warm, comfortable, and stylish little room, or a street-side café with raindrop-scratched spots, where everyone sits by the window drinking coffee. Currently, the furniture styles seem very limited, and it seems there are DLC options to unlock them. I only bought two or three DLCs. If you like the upcoming room and decoration content, you can unlock them for free through notes. Also, the game's chat and social aspect isn't very strong, so it's almost useless. It seems like people prefer writing things with sticky notes. Hopefully, more emojis or stickers created by the development team will be added in the future. Also, could you specify and broaden the audio input process? Some of my audio is converted to video format, some can be played, and some don't. Also, players have very little idle action in the room. In that new 6-person large room, there are kids spacing out, clearly able to fish, warm by the fire, or camp and eat barbecue together. In the future, can we set up a fixed, invite-only private community room with login and offline idle actions? Everyone can unlock their favorite content and add their own little elements to this shared room. I'm really looking forward to future updates from the game development team. 像素风的lofi小窝桌面陪伴游，很适合玩一些not-fullscreen小游戏时候，淡淡的很安心……

The most visually satisfying and pleasing productivity tool I have seen so far, at the cost of less immersion due to its isometric view and 2D pixel art compared to more intimate camera angles and flexibility with 3D. It plenty makes up for a pleasing UI and the most complete audio experience when it comes to music and ambiance - I personally love jazz and am happy to see a solid playlist here compared to how it is absent from other productivity games. Talking about UI, the productivity tools are probably the most coherent I have seen them in those games, with subfolders for to-do lists and multiple lists folders being very nice, and the formatting on the memopad while retaining the pixel aesthetic feeling visually pleasing and satisfying to use. The pixelart is gorgeous and each room is more creative and stunning than the last one. The only thing I would like are essentially more options when it comes to customizing your character, like more eye shapes and more color palette options for clothes and items that is already present in the hair. Being able to rotate our character would be nice too, like on the third room bed, or pivot to the sitting activities at the desk in the first room. Being able to have multiple pets in a room would also be nice since there are already given spots for them. The multiplayer was definitely my main sell on this, and it functions well with good moderation functions, even as it is in beta currently. I personally like the more microtransaction model, as it makes the ceiling for friends getting the game very low and helps you precisely cater to which content you want to throw a few bucks on. As we speak, I just got the whole bundle on sale for 20CAD, which feels like a more than appropriate amount for the content of a full producitivty game with tons of options. The currency goes up very slowly, which I like. I focus on what I do and naturally see that I built up enough currency for some stuff.
