If you like hard games this is definitely a game for you! Everytime you beat a boss or other tough section you get that sweet feeling of succes. The movement and mechanics are so simple and is still being used in tons of ways. Mastering the movement and going fast is incredible satisfying too. You should totally give this game a shot.
Nakoľko som fanúšikom kľudných a nenáročných hier , mne osobne pripadala hrozne ťažká a niekedy flustrujúca.
This is usually not my kind of game, but I enjoyed the HELL out MineRalph! Super hard twitch gameplay, the puzzles and levels are diabolical, yet every time you die (and you do that a LOT in MineRalph) it feels fair: It feels like YOU messed up. The simple controls are quick to learn, but very hard to master, and the level design constantly steps up the difficulty, yet still in a nice and reasonable learning curve. I highly recommend MineRalph!
Fun game, A bit difficult controls, much rather prefer moving with wasd or controller. Love the speedrunning aspect of this game and definitely encouraged by the $1,000 competition. Game is quite difficult, especially on the bosses. Good level design and platforming.
I spent 1 hour trying to improve my time in level 2 by 50 milliseconds and enjoyed every part of it. 10/10
the best
I've been playing this game since the early alpha stages. I love it, yes it's difficult but it is SO satisfying. I guarantee the difficult parts will have you keep trying until you get it and you'll keep saying one more try
the "rage quit" button in the menu is frustratingly accurate... you know you can do better, but you just can't do it, or you just need that little bit of something that makes the level feel so good to complete. you can "easily" complete it, but you wanna complete it well, test your feeling that "if i jump here, then i can make it there, and then do a shortcut there." but often you make that small mistake, that makes it impossible. and then you hit the table and use the rage quit... then after a couple hours you think, hmmm maybe if i do it like that?? hmmm maybe? i love it and hate that fact that im so close to what i know i can do, but just cant, almost there! i know i can do it. but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. good game, gonna play more! good for speed running, but good luck to those poor souls who are actually gonna do it. ohh the hours in "almost there" territory.
A delightfully wacky platformer that encourages quick and precise cursor movement. MineRalph challenges the player to with its physics based movement relying on the position of the cursor to propel the player in desired direction. This control scheme creates fun, hectic and challenging platform segments. New mechanics are rapidly introduced to entice the player to experiment with controls. Secrets are hidden away in interesting ways and finding that one particular secret after countless retries is very rewarding. Albeit my quite rocky start I quickly came to grasp the controls and what followed was some really fun and rewarding platform gaming. This game provides great speed running possibilities and I am sure this game will supply many hours of fun if you want to beat your latest time score. The game has a surprising amount of settings for a 2D platformer going as far as too even accommodate players with phobias, such as fear of spiders, lizards, robots and more which makes I think the developers should get some credit for. The soundtrack and sound effects are good and serves their purpose well. The soundtrack is very pleasant and not too intruding but sadly not too memorable. I have yet to complete MineRalph but so far I have had great fun with it. I think its a rock solid title for people who are fans of challenging 2D platformers.
