Mina the Hollower was developed by the creators of Shovel Knight. When I delved into the game, I fell in love with the Castlevania-esque artstyle right away. In the prologue, you are tasked to restore six generators. You can actually tackle the six main areas in any order, but I did it the intended way. I liked that each area had a distinct feel and unique enemies. Among my favorite areas are Bayou and Coltrane Peak. I chose the whip at the start of the game and finished the game with it. It was most natural for me with the long reach. As for the difficulty, I had no problems with it. I felt the early game was the hardest as you had very little HP and not many trinkets. I beat most of the main bosses on my first try, even
The Congealed.
I think platforming was the hardest sometimes, especially in the very last area. Enjoyed the final bossfight, though I pretty much saw it coming hehe. I think the ending was good, because I was fearing far worse consequences. Also I can't forget to highlight the soundtrack by Jake Kaufman. It made most of the areas lively and I had to listen to the soundtrack again on Spotify. Mina the Hollower is truly the game of the year 2026 for me. It's totally worth the full price. I hope we'll possibly get DLC or another game where we get back to Tenebrous Isle, or even somewhere else. Who knows where Mina's next adventure will lead!

very good game
Mina the Hollower is one of the best indie game I've played in years. At first, it appears to be a Zelda-like (probably the best one), but then carves out its own identity by morphing multiple genres. This game plays and feels very much like Bloodborne. Attacks are deliberate, enemies are placed in tricky locations, and the whole world is interconnected. From the smooth gameplay, incredible soundtrack, and beautiful pixel graphics, Mina is a near-perfect game. There is one serious flaw for completionists but that is a pretty big spoiler. I'll leave it up to others to decide if it's worth getting 100% but, all-in-all, Yacht Club did not disappoint.
Jogo bem divertido. As armas e trinkets trazem bastante diversidade pro jogo. O Carving Man foi meu chefe favorito, combinou demais com todo o clima de sua área. Mas eu achei que a forma que escolheram pra fazer o final "verdadeiro" e secreto bem infeliz.
My pick for 2026 GOTY!
Top five things that Big Mouse doesn't want you to know: -cheese -cheese again -digging holes -Simon Belmont lookalikes -cheese but cool
I've never had a more love hate relationship with a game before, its amazing really. Good game Yacht Club.
Really good old-school top-down view game. If you loved the SNES Legend of Zelda, or similar games then you will love this.
MASTERPIECE
和动物井很多地方相似度很高 音乐做的非常好加分 难度还行吧引导太少了经常原地兜圈子
