Reminiscent of a game like Links Awakening with underlying souls like mechanics. Bosses can be very difficult. Save points are reasonably spaced. There are a ton of modifiers I have yet to dig into, but looking over the options would suggest that the modifiers can both greatly increase and decrease game difficulty to meet your desired experience.

If you're a fan of old school Zelda and/or soulsborne games, I think you'll like this retro-style gem!
GOTY (After Deltarune Chapter 5 at least)
I can't remember the last time I bought a new game, beat it, and just wanted to play it again. The polish on the game is top notch from the soundtrack to the aesthetic, but what stood out to me the most was the gameplay. The level design is tightly made, so every screen is unique and challenges the player in different ways. Every subsequent boss builds on the last to test if the player is using Mina's entire arsenal. I also really appreciated the variety of weapons, sidearms, and trinkets in the game. No two Minas will be the same. If there was any criticisms I have its that exploration does require effort. I didn't know how to get the map or radar skull until after I beat the game the first time which I could have gotten basically at the beginning of the game. The other big one is that some combination of trinkets can break the game pretty easily. At max trinkets I am not surprised, but the biggest offender I have used is the Mist Jar and Joule Syringe combo. Mina's hollowing ability is so unique and is a breath of fresh air to the Dark Souls dodge roll, but Mist Jar negates that by basically being a dodge roll. With the Joule Syringe trinket equipped, a player can easily spam the Mist Jar making traversal, enemies, and bosses be a joke. Granted there was a recent patch to nerf the combo, so I hope the devs keep making small adjustments to make many builds viable and fun for the game. Overall, this is one of my favorite games and if you are a fan of Hollow Knight, Celeste, or any sort of challenging game I would highly recommend this game to you.
Jogo super interessante.
