Absolute blast from start to finish. The pixel graphics are top notch, a given since its yacht club. The controls are pretty tight, and quite a lot of secrets and challenges for hidden goodies. Definitely 100%-ing this one. Although fair warning: There is almost zero hand-holding, and some of the room fights can be pretty brutal.

Masterpiece.
Quite a delight to play through with a tough yet satisfying challenge, and even enjoyable to finish 100%. Thinking back on the experience, the main issue I can say I had with it is that it could have used a more robust map system, as it's surprisingly easy to get lost or forget the route to shortcuts you uncover. Backtracking by going the long way around only to realize there was a shortcut *right there* could get a bit annoying. I also found the timing necessary to burrow to avoid some boss attacks a little too strict. While you can technically find the tools to help with that, it can take a while to actually get there. But overall, those criticisms are pretty inconsequential. This is still a great game that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a game with rock-solid design and a fun adventure.
I didn't think they could up the ante on Shovel Knight but yep, you guessed it, they let you dig [b]EVEN DEEPER[/b] with this one folks. Can't wait to see where these devs go next. [spoiler] Farther down I assume 🤣🤣🤣🤣 [/spoiler]
I love the art, the level design, how boss fights(so far at least) encourage me to change my loadout to try different strategies. This has been my favorite game of the year, and I am so excited to keep working through it. Hope to 100% it.

Really good old-school top-down view game. If you loved the SNES Legend of Zelda, or similar games then you will love this.
