Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Ubisoft should choke on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ and die! I don't understand how they can ♥♥♥♥ so much stuff up. Even their launcher is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken.
This is... a very controversial game. I've played all the Heroes games, and I, probably, wouldn't recommend this one to anyone, even though I had my fun. I played mostly out of curiosity. It was fascinating to explore this part of the series. Played on Windows 11, with Unofficial Community Patch. No issues there. Towns: There are 7 different factions in the game, and every town image looks like a crappy jpg. They're completely unattractive to look at. The building layout is also poor. Towns of any faction are built according to the same layout, but the placement of identical buildings constantly jumps. Units: They're generally pleasing; they often have unique features (especially with UCP). They almost always have interesting designs... which you can't really see! Yes, they added an encyclopedia (great feature) in this game... but it doesn't have 3D unit models, but rather their artwork. Battlefield: Unlike other games, the battlefield size is constantly changing... that's all, this change has little effect. Combat: Luck and Morale are still in the game. Luck is 150% damage, and Morale is now a extra HALF-turn (the unit moves halfway and deals half damage). Flank attacks have been added (from the side +25% and from behind +50%) - and this is a bad decision. This doesn't add any tactical options; you just always attack from behind if you can. Defending yourself from such attacks is also impossible. Battles turn into round dances, with everyone constantly running around each other. Leveling: Each faction has 6 hero classes (3 might, 3 magic). In this part of the series, each hero has predetermined skills they can level up, and to what extent. A warrior will never be able to level up magic skills high enough, and vice versa. The skills themselves are leveled in a desired order. This system... leads to each class having its own optimal strategy, and you will always follow it. That is, 6 options per faction... overall, not bad, but very... monotonous and too straightforward. The skills themselves are sometimes quite interesting in concept... but rather weak in effect. (For example, the Metamagic skill—reducing damage from all sources by 2-20 points—is extremely insignificant, and over time, it will become completely negligible.) Global Map: There's plenty of visual variety; during the campaign, I occasionally encountered some truly beautiful sights... and this is in a strategy game! True, this happened much less frequently than I would have liked, but discomfort during gameplay was constant. The need to constantly rotate the camera, in my opinion, doesn't do the game any favors. Campaigns: I completed all 7 original campaigns, as well as the Dwarf and Ivan campaigns from the DLC. Occasionally, I encountered softlocks, which forced me to use the game's built-in cheats (I didn't want to replay the mission). The campaigns give you plenty of opportunity to play as your chosen faction. The story in each individual campaign ranges from decent to downright silly. If you play through it, it's best to focus on the factions you're interested in and ignore the plot. The final campaign of the original game unlocks after completing any two, but each completed campaign grants some kind of bonus for the finale. And finally, my personal pet peeve... the game has terrible... color correction? Because of this, I found it difficult to watch 95% of the time.
game is good, but there are a lot of bugs and not many people play it
trying to run the game takes over few hours, then you realise it's not game fault but ubisoft connect/app which you wanted to avoid by buying game on steam; so if you go offline, game will work because ubi app will not messs your game anymore. sadly game overall looks like downgrade towards heroes V, no iferno castle is a joke, game is so hard to read, even town screens or recruit screens
This game has No Redeemable Qualities Tried and failed multiple times to get through this game, if only for completion sake after having played through each previous HoMM title (multiple times). Bugs, bugs everywhere. - Hero randomly losing its turn, items not working, spells not working, spell scaling not working, etc. Dead AI - very quickly you will realize the AI is not simply bad, it does not function enough to even be fun to take advantage of. Enemy heroes will continuously travel towards your base, teleport back, not recruit new troops get outscaled and guaranteed leave their base undefended. Boring campaign - uninspired story (factions coming together, friendship is magic ... again and Worse), all scenarios are very tutorial-y or the few times the game lets you play on an open field you find out just how truly dead the AI is. This project was a mistake from start to end and there is no reason to spend time or money on it instead of playing any of the other HoMM games or contemporaries like Songs of Conquest.
Constant nonsence with Ubisoft connect and hell no why required constant internet connection for singleplayer. Garbage.
