Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After 72 hours of playing and a several month break, I can no longer access my save games or login to Ubisoft Connect. Customer support has been zero help. Gameplay itself was fun and I would love to recommend this, but until it can be played without that awful Ubiconnect stuff, 0/10 don't recommend.
This game has a disgusting secret: It requires a connection to Ubisoft cloud. As such, you will be unable to even launch the game. So do NOT buy it, it's bricked abandonware.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Cant even play the game without multiple UBISOFT downoads. Connect, HUB, data center... Add another 3gbs space for all the crap you need just to play. Removed it all from my system and will never play i guess.
This game is awesome, except multiplayer is busted and something tells me they wont be fixing it anytime soon, or ever. Playing solo, awesome game, but this is a broken Multiplayer game. I would give it a neutral if I could, but since multiplayer is broke then I wont be recommending it.
For those having issues launching the game. What worked for me is having both the steam app and the ubisoft connect app open, cut your internet off on your pc, put it back on and then launch from the ubisoft app. I wish i saw that they were involved prior to my purchase. I will celebrate the day this ♥♥♥♥ company goes under and frees the gaming community from their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Game forces you to use ubisoft connect. There is no way to disable it. You are required to create an account and have it active while playing. If you don't like bloatware shoved down your throat, don't buy this game even on sale.
The black sheep of the HOMM series
I tried liking this game since it came out back in 2015, and, not gonna lie, each time I'd give it a try, I just hated it. I’m a huge fan of the Heroes of Might & Magic series as a whole, and this just felt like a cheap and low-effort entry in the series. Not to mention that it was plagued by technical difficulties and bugs that to this day aren’t fixed. But, you know what? I gave it another try recently and I actually do enjoy the game now. I don’t know if I was just influenced and carried away by the generally extremely negative tone surrounding the game or if I just became more open-minded with the years, but I genuinely like the game now. Don’t get me wrong, compared to the other games in the series, it still pales in comparison, there’s absolutely no denying that, however, it is an alright game. I think my playtime speaks to that as well, and I plan on finishing it all for all the achievements too. So, yes, I do think that this game is a bit over-hated. I for one will recommend it and leave a positive review, because it’s genuinely not that horrible if you go into it without the prejudgmental attitude. But if you do decide to get it, you should absolutely get it on sale, because the price they still keep on it is a bit too much for such a flawed and 10-year-old game. Some main points about it I’d like to share with you: [olist] [*]This is a Ubisoft game, which means that they just “had” to cramp that lousy Uplay launcher of theirs into it. It launches every time you launch the game on Steam for no good reason. It does just install a lite version of it, but you have to have it running in the background if you want to play this game, and in case the launcher goes offline or issues appear, you get booted out of the game completely. [*]The story is not very good at times. It’s not very engaging in general, and the cinematics and cutscenes are rather simple, which is a real shame considering some of the lore and events in the previous entries. It does serve its purpose though and does have a few good moments here and there. [*]The balance in the game is hilarious. Might heroes are decent, but Magic is absolutely way stronger than Might. Some spells in particular can literally carry a hero with a single unit. Some units are also way stronger than their counterparts of the same tier. [*]The UI, the hero talent-wheel and townscreens feel very rough (literally like a beta version), but once you get used to it, it’s tolerable. [*]There are alternate versions of some units, which is actually quite nice, because you can play the same faction in different ways. The factions in general are good. [*]The performance of the game is not as bad as people make it out to be. Maybe it was back in the day, but the game does work fine nowadays. The visuals in the game and the animation on units are also actually rather nice and good-looking. I know this is a bit controversial, because many people feel like the Heroes series never should have gone 3D, but this game does look quite nice on higher settings. I do advise you to play it on an SSD though, if you can, because the difference between playing this on HDD and SSD can be greatly felt. [/olist] But, yeah, my advice is that you should form your own opinion on this game by keeping an open mind and giving it a fair try. It’s absolutely flawed, definitely the worst entry in the HOMM series by far, but regardless, it’s still decent for sinking some hours into it.
