Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt

A short, humorous (and occasionally creepy) anomaly game set in a strange London Tube station. The visuals are nice and shiny, and the anomalies themselves range from overt to so subtle you might easily overlook them. Finished Exit 8 and was looking for a similar experience. The steam reviews were pretty supportive which made me give it a shot. It's embarrassing the way the game straight up copies and pastes ideas from the other game, while applying no new innovations, It opens up with some super ♥♥♥♥ timeline, that immediately tells you will not be a part of the anomaly system. God I'm bored and angry but yeah if you like Exit 8 dont buy this game this game is complete....

I love this game! The design is deceptively relaxing but there are a huge variety of anomalies and even some good jumpscares. The speedrun function is a lot of fun too! Definitely worth the three bucks or whatever it is normally.

Its Exit 8 but by a different dev. Loved it, although I did struggle with some of the anomalies. If you enjoy this kind of anomaly game, this one is good.

For anyone that enjoyed The Exit 8, highly recommend. It's very similar, obviously, but with lots of fun things to make it even more immersive and enjoyable. The humorous announcements remind me very much of Portal, they make me smile. I love the number and variety of anomalies and once you complete it once, you get to see a checklist of the ones you've found so far. I made my first successful run in 30 minutes, but I want to play it again to see what other anomalies await. ^-^

Personally one of my favorite anomaly hunting game. Each one was super unique and hunting those achievements was actually enjoyable.

This is, as I understand it, the successor or sequel to the original Midnight Monitor. I played them out of order, starting with this one which was a lot of fun with some silly anomalies, sillier achievement, and overall very fun experience. Far superior to Midnight Monitor then, which I didn’t have as much fun with. Very well made game, graphics also look very nice and the game runs great on Steamdeck. Can be a bit scary sometimes.
