Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 19 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Bait and switched for the anniversary edition for a start, and secondly, none of the tutorials actually work so it's impossible to learn how to play without going down a modding rabbit hole. Refunded.
I keep on crashing the crj 700 into my house and somehow i don't get bored
I've Played FSX since I was a kid! Such good memories!
2006, £20? You can do better than buy this microslop grind.
Worth the price while it was on sale, otherwise it would be a waste of money. Full of bugs, always crashing, outdated as hell, and overly complicated set of controls. Wtih a few mods the game can function well and look okay, but probably not as good as modern flight sims. Great game if you're into flight simulators but running on a potato pc.
Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition is one of those games that proves a great simulator does not necessarily need modern graphics to remain incredibly enjoyable. Even after all these years, FSX still offers an impressive amount of content, freedom, and depth, making it easy to spend hundreds of hours exploring different aircraft, airports, routes, and flying experiences. What I enjoy the most is the sheer variety. Whether you want to perform a relaxed flight, practice more structured procedures, explore different parts of the world, or simply enjoy the feeling of being in the cockpit, there is always something to do. The aircraft selection, flight mechanics, missions, airports, weather options, and overall simulation depth create an experience that feels much larger than a traditional game. The Steam Edition is also a great way to experience this classic simulator on a modern PC. The Steam integration, improved compatibility, multiplayer functionality, and access to a huge community make the experience considerably more convenient than the original release. The community surrounding FSX is one of its biggest strengths, with an enormous ecosystem of additional content that can expand the experience far beyond the original package. Of course, the graphics are showing their age, especially when compared with modern flight simulators. Some visual elements, interfaces, and animations can definitely feel dated. However, once you get into the cockpit and start flying, those limitations become much less important. The core experience is still excellent, and the amount of content available more than makes up for the older presentation. Another major strength is how approachable it can be. You can start casually and gradually learn more about aviation, navigation, aircraft systems, approaches, and procedures as you become more interested. It can be enjoyed as a game, but it also has enough depth to become a serious hobby for anyone fascinated by aviation. Overall, Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition remains a fantastic flight simulator and an absolute classic. It may not have the visual fidelity of newer titles, but its depth, flexibility, huge amount of content, community support, and timeless gameplay make it incredibly easy to recommend. If you enjoy aviation or simulation games, this is one of those titles that deserves a place in your library. ★★★★★ — A true classic that still knows how to fly.
