Micro Pico Racers

I normaly write longer reviews but i only played it ones and already requested a refund. Why you might ask and "shouldnt i give it a second chance" n stuff. not bad but not great. Good game for early age, i guess 12 and under. reminds me of the old nes micromachine game. one thing that i find annoying is the end of races. too long (fade in/out) no retry option unless you hit start before the end of the race.

Micro pico racers is a top down retro style racing game with single player, split screen and online multiplayer modes. It looks great and plays superb. There are no framrate issues or game breaking bugs that I have found. The game in its essence is a simple racing game but there are many challenging events to pass. Such as time trial which you will need to ensure your using the correct vehicle and hitting those apex's consistentley. The drifting evens I found quite difficult but with practice you will probably find it very satisfying. I wasn't able to test the online mode due to nobody playing currently but that could change with just a few people buying the game. The split screen does work great. All in all I think this is a great racing game with a lot of challenge within it. This is not a game which you will fly through allt he races within an hour then uninstall. Highly recommended retro style racing game, difficult to control but fun and addicting. various cars with different driving styles, varied circuits, different objectives ... Perfectly compatible with my xbox controller edit: I have tried multiplayer and it is a lot of fun, even more. good game.

It's cute and I enjoyed the challenge - I like the pixel style and it's certainly interesting - worth the £4. There are just two main issues I have with this: Firstly, I don't like being thrown back into the menu every single time I fail a challenge, I prefer to be thrown right back in to it, maybe a "retry" option should be there to throw you right back in once you fail a challenge. Secondly, the difficulty ramps up very quickly - once I'd got a handle on things and started getting in to it, it threw me off that the Novice level 7 is just WAY TOO HARD - it's not a game centered on difficulty so it's not like that's an excuse, nor is this a later on level where you'd except difficulty, but having just 15 seconds to do that lap, that needs to be changed to 20 at least!

This game is very hard at some points, but at some other points it is fun.

Micro Pico Racers - это крайне простая и незамысловатая гоночная игра, в которой игроку предстоит управлять машинкой с видом сверху, и побеждать в различных видах заездов. Гонки в игре разделены на три вида сложности, в каждом из которых находится по пятнадцать заездов различного типа. Игроку предстоит побеждать в обычных гонках по круговой трассе, протяженностью в пять кругов с четырьмя соперниками, проходить гонки на время, где нужно успеть проехать каждый круг до окончания таймера, набирать очки в дрифт-заездах, и разбивать машины двух соперников в отдельных гонках. Трассы расположены в разных локациях, на разном покрытии, и в разное время суток. Так же на трассах встречаются препятствия в виде масляных пятен, либо конусов. Стоит заметить, что машин в игре много, и под каждый тип гонок, и конкретную трассу нужно скрупулезно подбирать машину, которая лучше всего подойдёт для заезда. В этом игроку помогут характеристики каждой машинки. В целом, для такой игры довольно неплохое содержимое как и заездов, так и машин. Графика в игре выполнена в пиксельном стиле, выглядит отлично. Что касается музыки и звуков, то тут ситуация хуже. В меню игры играет только одна коротка песня, а у каждой машины одинаковые звуки. Так же стоит заметить, что игра довольно трудная, и к управлению нужно будет привыкать. Micro Pico Racers неплохая, сделанная с душой игра, которая точно стоит внимания, если игроку захотелось чего-то нетипичного и аркадного, в пиксельной стилистике.

I like this game, especially considering that only one man programmed it. It has some flows though. The music is really annoying and there is no option to disable it. There is one option to disable sound, but then u get rid of ALL SOUNDS IN THE GAME. Its weird that he didnt think about this. Another annoying thing is that u cant setup your own controls.

Fun! Also I find it challenging! So... FUN!

Hey, I like this game. It's a simple game that demands a lot from you. The mechanics are easy enough to get the hang of, but don't think it will just come to you. The handling takes a lot to get used to, and in my case, I like controllers for racing anyway, and this game is one I need a controller for. I tried to use keyboard, but I didn't like it. You're going to race, time trial, drift and demo other cars. It's easy to pick up, but going to take a lot of attempts. This is very arcade and that is why I like it. I haven't tried the online multi-player, but I can't imagine it's going to be packed. What this game does need, is a restart button at the game over screen.
